Abstract:
A system receives a preference of a user, wherein the preference relates to a product or service located in a first geographic location, and then the system receives an identification of a second geographic location. The system analyzes, based on the preference of the user, a database to identify candidate products or services in the second geographic location. The system then determines, from the candidate products or services, an equivalent product or service at least in part by comparison of the candidate products or services to the preference of the user. The system transmits to the user an identification of the equivalent product or service located in the second geographic location.
Abstract:
A method and system create, on a portable electronic device, a real-time graphical view of an in-store product display that pinpoints the location of one or more target products on the product display. The graphical view is generated by capturing merchandise display data, such as a video feed of the in-store product display, and processing the data to detect the one or more target products based on predefined product recognition criteria uniquely associated with the respective target products.
Abstract:
Computing systems and methods for facilitating the review and purchase of tickets for ticketed events include memory devices or storage components that store event information regarding upcoming ticketed events and venue information for seating arrangements and views from seats, as well as one or more processors for conducting activities regarding the review and purchase of tickets using a three-dimensional interactive seat map. Activities include providing a display on a computing device including information regarding a venue that is used for ticketed events, accepting on the computing device an input from the user regarding seating arrangements for the venue, determining an attendance location for a ticketed event at the venue based upon the first input, generating a virtual three-dimensional or augmented reality view of a region of interest at the venue from the determined attendance location, and displaying to the user the virtual three-dimensional or augmented reality view.
Abstract:
According to various embodiments, a content marking command is received from a mobile device at a particular time. For example, a user selection of the content marking command may be received via a user interface displayed on the mobile device. The content marking command may indicate a user interest in a particular moment of an event viewed by the user. Moreover, the event viewed by the user and video content data corresponding to the event may be identified. Further, content marking data may be generated, whether content marking data indicates a particular portion of the identified video content data corresponding to the particular moment of the event.
Abstract:
A method, article of manufacture and system for receiving, from a user device located at an environment at which a user is viewing an event both with and without the use of the user device, image data containing an image of the environment; receiving a request from the user device for an item of information that relates to the event, for placement into the image of the environment; responsive to receiving the request, accessing a database to retrieve the item of information; generating a scaled image of the item of information based on dimensions of the environment; and transmitting the scaled image for placement into the image of the environment on the user device to generate an augmented reality image.
Abstract:
There is provided systems and method for event purchase and upgrade options based on user parameters. A user may attend an event at a venue and have purchased admission for the event. Prior to attending the event, the user's actions throughout the day may be tracked, such as an amount of sleep the user had the previous night and/or a workload throughout a day. Additionally, information about the venue may be collected, such as weather parameters and available ticketing. Based on the parameters of the user and/or the expected parameters of the user at the venue, the user may be offered upgrades to the user's admission. Thus, the user may be able to sit in VIP seating if the user is tired or find a covered seating during warm weather. Moreover, items from merchants at the venue may be offered to the user based on the user's parameters.
