Abstract:
A faucet assembly includes a valve subassembly having a valve mechanism and an actuator having an axis. An underbody includes a valve end body for receiving the valve subassembly for connection thereto. A deck plate is configured for coupling to the underbody. A handle adapter is coupled to said faucet assembly to be non-rotatable with respect to the deck plate. A handle subassembly has a hub and a valve operator. The valve operator is rotatably coupled to the hub. The valve operator is connected to the actuator of the valve subassembly to operate the valve subassembly when the valve operator is rotated about the axis to move in relation to the deck plate. The hub is attached to the deck plate via the handle adapter.
Abstract:
A solenoid valve is provided generally including a bobbin for supporting a coil and a core located adjacent to the bobbin. An armature is movably disposed relative to the core. A plunger is coupled to the armature and movable with the armature. A seal is coupled to the plunger, with the seal movable between an open position and a closed position sealingly engaged with a valve seat. The solenoid valve further includes a plunger damper which includes a resilient feature that is configured to engage the plunger when the seal moves toward the closed position. The plunger damper may damp, or cushion, any impact between the seal and the valve seat.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a connector having a main body portion and a housing portion. The housing mounts over the connector main body. The housing is adapted for securing the connector to another element such as a piece of telecommunications equipment.
Abstract:
A sleeve for a container, such as a water bottle, that is configured in a manner that secures the container or that may be positioned on its side where it functions as a container itself, such as a bowl.
Abstract:
A spring compression system for shoes that functions much like a car's suspension in absorbing the shock and impact that occurs when shoes contact the ground. Wherein form is the most important element of shoes and function is a distant afterthought, the ergonomically poor design of shoes desperately require the healthier environment for the wearer a spring compression system would offer with the additional ability to be adjusted to suit the weight of the wearer as well as the level of shock absorption desired.
Abstract:
A pedal slider assembly that allows for a normal pedal affixed to a normal bicycle to slide laterally outwardly away from the bicycle frame and back inwardly towards the bicycle frame allowing the rider to find their bodies natural pedal placement as it travels through the rotational pedaling path based on their specific skeletal structure restrictions, (those being the width of an individual's hips, knees, and ankles) as those positions dictate the center line of the user and as those positions are directly affected by the pedal relationship to the center line of the bicycle frame, additionally there is a multitude of lateral movement length options for the rider to utilize to garner specific exercise benefits.
Abstract:
A urine absorption system may comprise a toilet including a bowl having a rim portion with an upper surface. A toilet seat assembly may be mounted on the bowl of the toilet, the seat assembly including a pair of hinge posts mounted on the rim of the bowl. The system includes a urine absorption pad for absorbing stray urine on the upper surface of the rim of the toilet bowl. The absorption pad may be positioned on the upper surface of the rim portion of the bowl, and at least a portion of the absorption pad may be positioned between the pair of hinge posts of the toilet seat assembly.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for selecting a volume of interest in one or more digitized images. A geometric structure in the digitized image for selecting a volume of interest is defined. A segmentation of the volume of interest in the digitized image is performed and visualized. The invention further relates to an apparatus, in particular a computer for performing the methods and a computer storage device comprising machine readable and executable program instructions which comprise steps of performing the methods. The invention can be applied for modern imaging developments, such as Computed Tomography, Angiography, and Magnetic Resonance Imaging which have made possible the acquisition of volumes where a volume of interest, e.g. the whole blood vessel tree, can be accurately visualized.
