Abstract: A card edge connector comprises an insulator body and a pair of metal components. A central slot is provided along the longitudinal direction of the insulator body. The pair of metal components is disposed at distal ends of two opposite sides of the insulator body. Each metal component includes a main body member fixed on the insulator body and a fixing member soldered to a printed circuit board. At least one soldering point is protrudingly provided on the fixing member. The proposed card edge connector can effectively save space, and has a simple structure. Moreover, it can be conveniently manufactured to enhance production efficiency, can be easily installed or dismantled, and can be firmly connected to a printed circuit board.

Abstract: An electrical connector with an electrically insulating elastic body is disclosed, comprising an electrically insulating elastic body and a multiple of electrical pieces inclinedly disposed in the electrically insulating elastic body. When the electrical connector is compressively contacted with external electronic devices, the electrical pieces will undergo rotating displacement; when the external electronic devices retreat from the compressive contact, the electrically insulating elastic body will push the electrical pieces back to their original positions. Compared with conventional prior art, the electrical piece of the electrical connector according to present invention can undergo rotating displacement to enable the electrical pieces to have larger elastic deformation, such that good contact can be ensured when the flatness of the connected electronic devices is poor and larger normal force on the electrical pieces can be obtained.

Abstract: An electrical connector is capable of being electrically connected to a first electric component and a second electric component. The electrical connector comprises an insulated body and a plurality of first and second conductive terminals. The insulated body is elastic. The first conductive terminal comprises a base portion, and a first contact portion and a second contact portion respectively extend from two ends of the first base portion. The second conductive terminal comprises a second base portion, and a third contact portion and a fourth conductive portion extend from two ends of the second base portion. Once the first conductive terminal is compressed, the insulated body is forced to deform, and the second contact portion contacts the third contact portion. Furthermore, the second and third contact portions face each other, and tail ends of the second and third contact portions exceed each other and contact each other after compression.

Abstract: A manufacture process of a connector includes six steps of: (1) providing an insulating body; (2) providing a shelter with at least one slot; (3) the shelter being covered on the insulating body; (4) a metal pellet passing through the slot being plated with the insulating body to form a metal layer with a specific shape by a method of a physical plating membrane; (5) putting the insulating body into chemical liquid so that the metal layer of the insulating body being plated with at least one metal layer for protecting; and (6) taking the shelter off. Comparing to the prior art, the manufacture process of the connector uses a method of plating membrane to form a metal layer having the same function as a conductive terminal. By the method, the elastic contact portion can be installed on the two ends of the pressing contact connector.
