A terminal including a screen structure and a method are provided. The terminal includes a main body including a screen panel on a screen. The terminal includes a fingerprint reader disposed in the main body and connected to a processor. The terminal also includes one or more fingerprint detection units disposed between the screen panel and the screen. The fingerprint reader is electrically connected to the one or more fingerprint detection units respectively and electrically connected to the processor. The fingerprint reader is configured to acquire detection signals from the fingerprint detection units, generate fingerprint data according to the detection signals from the fingerprint detection units and send them to the processor. The processor is disposed inside the main body, and configured to compare the fingerprint data with stored reference fingerprint data, and perform a preset control command when the fingerprint data match with the reference fingerprint data.

A method, device and a computer-readable storage medium for fingerprint recognition are provided. The method for fingerprint recognition may be applied to an electronic device including a liquid crystal display, and the liquid crystal display has fingerprint recognition sensors and optical proximity sensors. The method includes: acquiring a fingerprint recognition instruction; determining an area made up of a part of the optical proximity sensors after acquisition of the fingerprint recognition instruction, the distance between each of the part of the optical proximity sensor and a touch operation being less than a predetermined distance threshold; selecting a part of the fingerprint recognition sensors according to the area; and controlling the selected part of the fingerprint recognition sensors to perform fingerprint recognition.

Aspects of the disclosure provide a method for setting a color gamut mode for driving a display. The method includes acquiring a first picture to be displayed on the display; determining a picture type of the first picture, the picture type being associated with a predetermined color gamut mode; acquiring a current color gamut mode currently adopted for driving the display; and when the picture type of the first picture does not match the current color gamut mode, switching the color gamut mode for driving the display from the current color gamut mode to the predetermined color gamut mode.
