Abstract: A polymeric composition is disclosed. The composition can include (a) at least 95 wt. % of a polypropylene, (b) a clarifying agent, and (c) a nucleating agent, wherein the presence of the clarifying agent and nucleating agent in the polymeric composition decreases the haze value, as determined by ASTM D1003 at a thickness of 40-80 mil, of the polymeric composition when compared with the haze value of the polymeric composition having the clarifying agent but not the nucleating agent.

The organic sulfonate salt can be at least one selected from the group consisting of alkylsulfonic acid alkali metal salts whose alkyl group has 6 to 22 carbon atoms, alkylarylsulfonic acid alkali metal salts whose alkyl group has 6 to 22 carbon atoms, and sulfonic aliphatic ester alkali metal salts whose alkyl group has 6 to 22 carbon atoms. The inorganic salt can be at least one selected from the group consisting of sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, calcium sulfate, lithium sulfate, sodium chloride, potassium chloride, lithium chloride, magnesium chloride, and calcium chloride.
