Abstract: A door opening and closing apparatus includes a lock mechanism having an engaging member that engages with a lock member provided in a door when the door is in a fully closed state, and a link mechanism that has three link members, is configured to be able to undergo deformation into a linear state and a bent state, and restricts rotation of the engaging member by being brought into the linear state. A central link member among the three link members has a first face and a second face that are pressed by a projecting shaft. The link mechanism changes to the bent state when the first face is pressed, and changes to the linear state when the second face is pressed. The first face and the second face are provided so as to have a positional relationship in which the first face and the second face intersect each other.

Abstract: A synchronous pull device for slide cover mechanism includes two guide members, two slide seats and two pull assemblies. Slide guide sections are disposed on each guide member, whereby the slide seats can slide along the slide guide sections. First connection ends and second connection ends are respectively disposed on opposite sides of the slide seats. Each pull assembly includes at least two idlers, a middle idler and a pull cord. The two idlers are positioned beside two different ends of two different slide guide sections on opposite sides of the two guide members. The middle idlers are disposed between the two guide members near two ends of the slide guide sections. Each pull cord sequentially goes from the first connection end of one of the slide seats through one idler, the middle idler and the other idler to connect with the second connection end of the other slide seat.

Abstract: A retrofit conversion kit for converting a generally moisture intolerant door operating apparatus from overhead use to underground use and for operating a swinging door while protecting the door apparatus against moisture and dust encroachment within its underground location. The kit includes an enclosure to be mounted in a sub-floor stratum beneath a swinging door, with all of the door operating and controlling apparatus, whether electronic or mechanical, being self-contained within the enclosure. A seal arrangement provides the contamination encroachment protection while permitting access to the self-contained operating apparatus within the enclosure while the door remains in place.
