Abstract: An energy storage system includes at least one heterogeneous pressure media and interactive actuation module (“module”), a liquid source, a pump, a converter, a first pipeline, and a second pipeline. The module includes a first container storing an initial gas and a second container storing an initial liquid. The liquid source stores a working liquid. The pump regulates the working liquid from the liquid source into the module. The initial liquid is driven by the working liquid to continuously compress the initial gas so that the first container stores a first pressure energy, and the initial gas is continuously expanded to drive the initial liquid to convert the first pressure energy into a second pressure energy. The second pressure energy through the first pipe drives the converter to generate an electrical energy, and the working liquid after driving the converter is returned to the liquid source through the second pipeline.

Abstract: To alleviate stress exerted on a thread portion of a high pressure gas container including a metallic container to prevent fatigue fracture, there is provided a high pressure gas container comprising a metallic container, wherein the metallic container includes: a metallic cylinder; a female thread portion on an inner peripheral surface of the metallic cylinder at at least one end; and a lid having, on an outer peripheral surface, a male thread portion configured to screw into the female thread portion, and a maximum value of residual compressive stress at a position of 0.4 mm in a depth direction from a plurality of thread bottoms of the female thread portion and the male thread portion is 100 MPa or more, less than or equal to tensile strength of a material of the metallic cylinder, and less than or equal to tensile strength of a material of the lid.

Abstract: A fuel distribution station includes a first fuel tank for releasably holding a first fuel, and a second fuel tank for releasably holding a second fuel. A connection member extends between the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank, and provides a rigid connection between the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank. A support structure supports the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank in an elevated position a predetermined distance above ground, sufficient to allow for passage of land vehicles beneath the support structure during a fueling operation. A control system is utilized for selectively permitting and monitoring a discharge of fuel from the first fuel tank and the second fuel tank to the land vehicles during the fueling operation.

Abstract: Provided is a system and method for securing a seal between a thermoplastic liner and a metal boss for a composite cylinder. A metal boss can be integrated with a thermoplastic liner during a molding process. A bushing can be inserted into the metal boss and coupled thereto via threading. The bushing can further include a relief space region having a sidewall that is deformed from a first position to a second position in order to decrease a distance of the metal boss to the sidewall of the bushing, wherein the decrease provides a seal between the metal boss and the thermoplastic liner.
