Abstract: A conveyor assembly includes a trolley, a skid, a stationary cam member and a cam follower. The skid is positioned on the trolley. The stationary cam member is downstream of the trolley. The cam follower is fixed to the trolley for pivotal movement with respect thereto. The cam follower moves in response to contact with the stationary cam. With the trolley in a first location the cam follower moves to a release orientation. With the trolley moved to a second location the cam follower moves to a stop orientation. In the stop orientation a surface of the cam follower contacts the skit restricting movement thereof. In the release orientation the cam follower is moved away from the skid such that the skid is movable in the second direction past the cam follower.

Abstract: A vehicle body structure has a cargo area structure, a retractable step and a handle assembly. The cargo area structure has a floor, a first side wall and a tailgate at least partially defining a cargo area. The retractable step is installed to the cargo area structure beneath the floor and the first side wall and adjacent to the tailgate. The handle assembly has a base and a grip handle fixedly attached to the base. The base is attached to the first side wall with a portion of the base overlaying a corresponding portion of the upper surface of the first side wall and with an attachment assembly extending through the at least one opening in upper surface of the first side wall with a first portion of the grip handle extending inboard over the floor of the cargo area.

Abstract: A hands-free liftgate sensor for a vehicle includes a mounting bracket connected to a rear fascia member. The mounting bracket includes a bracket body having a plurality of rearward and forward flexible hooks. A rearward laterally extending channel is disposed in the mounting bracket. The plurality of rearward flexible hooks are opposite the rearward laterally extending channel. The rearward laterally extending channel is substantially laterally centered on the rear fascia member. The forward laterally extending channel is substantially laterally centered on the rear fascia member. A plurality of first fasteners secure a rearward portion of the mounting bracket to the rear fascia member. A plurality of second fasteners secure a forward portion of the mounting bracket to the rear fascia member.

Abstract: A vehicle body structure includes a vehicle cargo structure and a handle assembly. The vehicle cargo structure has a floor and a first side wall at least partially defining a cargo area at a rearward end of a vehicle, The handle assembly has a base and a grip handle. The base is attached to the first side wall above the floor within the cargo area. The grip handle is movable relative to the base between a stowed orientation in which the grip handle is at a location lower than an upper surface of the first side wall and a gripping orientation in which at least a portion of the grip handle extends higher that the upper surface of the first side wall. With the grip handle in the gripping orientation an individual entering the cargo area grabs the grip handle for assistance in stepping up into the cargo area.

Abstract: A seatbelt tensioning assembly having a seatbelt, a buckle tongue and a tensioning device. The buckle tongue is configured for releasable attachment to a seatbelt buckle within the passenger compartment. The tensioning device is rigidly connected to the buckle tongue with a mid-section of the seatbelt extending through a hollow interior of the tensioning device. The hollow interior of the tensioning device has a first tensioning member disposed therein at least partially defining a seatbelt path having a serpentine shape such that in the absence of tension being applied to the seatbelt the mid-portion of the seatbelt moves through the seatbelt path with the seatbelt path defining a first overall length. With a pre-determined level of tension being applied to the seatbelt, the tensioning device is configured to shorten the seatbelt path to a second overall length smaller than the first overall length.

Abstract: A vehicle device operating parameter setting system includes a controller connected to at least one vehicle device. The controller is configured to count repetitions of usage of the at least one vehicle device by a first vehicle operator using parameters that differ from the previously saved parameter settings and determine whether the repetitions of the usage of the vehicle device by the first vehicle operator exceed a predetermined number. In response to the repetitions exceeding the predetermined number, the controller automatically operates an information providing device providing the first vehicle operator with a plurality of parameter settings of the at least one vehicle device. The controller is further configured to save a selected one of the plurality of parameter settings in response to the first vehicle operator selecting the one of the plurality of parameter settings, thereby replacing the previously saved parameter setting.
