Abstract: Reinforced polyoxymethylene compositions including 50 to 90 wt. % of a polyoxymethylene; 10 to 50 wt. % of glass fibers, wherein the weight of the polyoxymethylene and the glass fibers total 100 wt. %; 1 to less than 4.0 wt. % of a (meth)acrylic polymer additive, based on the total weight of the polyoxymethylene and the glass fibers; 0.1 to 5 wt. %, preferably 0.1 to 2.5 wt. % of a heat stabilizer; and 0.1 to 5 wt. % of an antioxidant, wherein the amounts of the (meth)acrylic polymer additive, the heat stabilizer, and the antioxidant are based on the total weight of the polyoxymethylene and the glass fibers.

Abstract: A polymeric polyphosphite and copolymeric polyphosphite is described which contains a cycloaliphatic moiety, preferably cyclohexane dimethanol, in the polyphosphite backbone chain. Incorporation of the polymeric polyphosphite into synthetic polymers reduces the yellowness index of any polymer into which the polymeric polyphosphite additive has been added, as well as increased hydrolytic stability as well as increased resistance to migration in food packaging.

Included is a rubber composition for tires including: a rubber component; a naturally occurring wax containing 40-98% by mass of an ester component; a phenylenediamine antioxidant and/or a quinone antioxidant; and a specific nonionic surfactant, the rubber composition having an amount of diene rubber of 70-100% by mass per 100% by mass of the rubber component, the rubber composition having an amount of the naturally occurring wax of 0.01-5.0 parts by mass, an amount of petroleum-derived wax of 0-6.0 parts by mass, a combined amount of the phenylenediamine antioxidant and the quinone antioxidant of 1.0-8.0 parts by mass, and an amount of the nonionic surfactant of 0.1-5.0 parts by mass, each per 100 parts by mass of the rubber component.
