Abstract:
Self-protecting capacitor against internal ionization, characterised in that it is coated with a gas-tight plastic material having a thickness such as to maintain constant the pressure due to the evolved gases arising from a damage of the capacitor dielectric material, caused by a start of ionization, and to avoid all contact of its active part with the atmosphere. The equilibrium pressure determines the end of the ionization.
Abstract:
A strain simulator for flight controls comprising a frame, at least one flight control mounted on the frame, a resilient device simulating the reaction of a rudder or an aileron of an aircraft, and at least one linkage element interconnecting the flight control to the resilient device. The resilient device comprises a first lever, a second lever connected to the first lever, a shaft mounted on the frame and around which rotates the first lever, a ring maintained at a predetermined distance from the shaft of the first lever and in which slides and pivots the second lever, and at least one spring bearing on one side on the ring and on the other side on the second lever.
Abstract:
An optical system for a camera which comprises a front objective and a microscope assembly located behind the front objective. The said assembly comprises a microscope objective which is individually tiltable in order to increase the angular field of the optical system.
Abstract:
An installation for measuring the maximum visual distance in the fog which consists of a series of progressively distant lights, an optical system for projecting few of said lights on a screen, and a control device for simultaneously lighting and focusing the said few lights. Such series of signal lights are arranged in a plurality of approximately parallel rows in such a way that consecutive signal lights are located in different rows to eliminate the disadvantages resulting from the halos encircling the signal lights when such signal lights are projected on the screen. The same results may be obtained by flashing selected signal lights while the others are constantly lit or vice versa.
