    Abstract: A train coupler includes a mechanical coupler configured to couple with another train coupler, a primary pneumatic circuit, which includes a main air distribution line adapted to be connected with and supply air into a pneumatic circuit of the other train coupler, via a first inlet/outlet, an electrical head connected to a first actuator configured to be pneumatically actuated and drive the electrical head to move between a retracted position and an extended position where it is electrically coupled with an electrical head of the another train coupler, and a secondary pneumatic circuit pneumatically connected to the primary pneumatic circuit and arranged to convey flows of air derived from the main air distribution line towards the first actuator and a second inlet/outlet.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a railway vehicle comprising a car (14) and a bogie (16). The bogie (14) comprises a chassis (28) and a secondary suspension system (30). The secondary suspension system (30) comprises: a set (34) of springs; a jack (36) comprising two ends (44, 46); and a supply device (38) of the jack (36). The jack (36) is configured to go from a first so-called retracted configuration in which the jack (36) is only connected to the car (14) by the first end (44) to a second so-called deployed configuration in which the jack (36) is also connected to the chassis (18) by the second end (16).
    The power supply device (38) is configured, in the deployed configuration, to supply the jack (36) so as to move the car (14) away from the chassis (28) or to keep the distance between the car (14) and the chassis (28) constant.

    Abstract: Disclosed is switch lock device of a railway switching actuator connected to a switching slide and a tie bar/locking slide of the actuator, the switching slide and a tie bar/locking slide being slidable one over the other to lock a blade of a railway switch in a closed position, the switch lock including an oscillating catch unit oscillating between two positions, engaging either a stationary step of a casing of the actuator or a head surface of the switching slide. The oscillating catch unit links to the end of the tie bar by a spring actuated mechanism blocking oscillation of the oscillating catch unit in an unlocked position corresponding to the engagement of the switching slide. During switching, the tie bar compresses the spring actuated mechanism, and the oscillating catch unit is free to oscillate towards a locking position, engaging the step of the casing of the actuator.

    Abstract: A rotor shaft adapted to rotate about a rotor axis thereof. The rotor shaft includes a rotor cavity configured concentrically to the rotor axis inside the rotor shaft. The rotor shaft further includes a plurality of cooling bores extending radially outward from the rotor cavity to feed cooling air into an internal cooling system in a blade. Each cooling bore includes a bore inlet portion and a distal bore outlet portion. The respective bore inlet portion ends in a plateau, projecting above the outer circumference contour of the rotor cavity. Thus, cooling bore inlets are shifted to a low stress area and the lifetime of the rotor is improved.
