Abstract:
A game is provided which combines the elements of chance and coordinative skills. An elevated gaming surface is provided. Cooperatively mounted in the lowest end of the gaming surface is a game piece launcher. The game piece is a marble, steel ball or the like. The launcher includes a spring biased projector and a launch pad which is elevated and helical. On the upward end of the gaming surface are a plurality of annular concentric rings including scoring means for computing the score given to a launched game piece. Covering the gaming surface is a rigid transparent cover having an underside of predetermined configuration for cooperating with a projected ball and thereby guiding the projected ball in relation to the scoring indicia provided on the gaming surface. Tilting of the game surface causes return of the game piece or pieces to the starting position after computation of the score.
Abstract:
A low profile contact, stamped or cut from a section of flat stock material, for receiving a male pin for connection to a lead of a printed circuit board, includes a cylindrically shaped pin receiving portion for insertion into a hole in the printed circuit board conterminous with the lead. A plurality of tabs extend upwardly from the top of the cylinder, and a pair of opposite tabs are bent intermediate their ends to partially extend into the cylinder to engage the inserted pin. The tabs are flared outwardly from the top of the cylinder to provide a guide to assist insertion of the pin into the cylinder and to provide a seat upon which the contact seats upon the surface of the circuit board. The cylinder is formed with a gap or space parallel to its axis to enable it to be radially compressed upon insertion into the hole of the printed circuit board to urge or bear outwardly upon the walls of the hole to establish firm physical and electrical contact therewith. A connection member is attached to the bottom of the cylinder and extends through the printed circuit board when the contact is installed to receive external connection.
Abstract:
An improved and modified Claus process control system utilizing first and second coulometric titrators for automatically controlling the amount of oxygen used in burning a portion of the hydrogen sulfide (H.sub.2 S) in flue gases. The first and second titrators are fed sulfur dioxide (SO.sub.2) and H.sub.2 S scrubbed samples, respectively, of the flue gases downstream of the oxygen injection point. The first and second titrators produce H.sub.2 S and SO.sub.2 analog output signals, respectively, which are used to control the rate of flow of oxygen or air injected in a manner such that the samples of the flue gases contain H.sub.2 S in a concentration which is approximately or exactly equal to twice the concentration of the SO.sub.2 therein.

Abstract:
A filter element is provided that is preferably a side entry air filter having an air filter media pack, a housing seal and a frame that has a clamping projection, a pivot projection and/or guide members. The clamping projection can define a non-linear bearing surface that may be chevron shaped to provide for interface and potential alignment benefits. The housing seal may be a wave seal that undulates.
Abstract:
A system and method for blasting an overhead surface is disclosed herein. The blaster system can comprise a first enclosure, a second enclosure, a pair of recirculators, a pair of loader valves, and a pair of propeller assemblies. The first enclosure can comprise a pair of primary ports, and a pair of control cages. The pair of primary ports can be at the front surface of the first enclosure. The primary ports can receive abrasive material. The pair of control cages can be attached at the bottom surface of the first enclosure forming a pair of curved surfaces, and a plurality of gaps. Each of the curved surface can comprise a slot. Each end of the slot can rest within each of the gaps such that the abrasive material received within the first enclosure can collect within the gaps and falls into the slot.
Abstract:
A bottle sealing device for reversibly sealing a bottle includes a tube that is hollow. The tube is configured to insert a neck of a bottle such that the tube is reversibly couplable to the bottle with a threaded section of the bottle protruding through an upper end of the tube. A cap is pivotally coupled to the upper end of the tube. The cap also is reversibly couplable to the upper end of the tube. The cap is substantially complementary to the threaded section of the bottle. The cap is configured to reversibly and sealably couple to a lip of the bottle as the cap is reversibly coupled to the tube.
Abstract:
A method and machine for the purpose of separating heavy materials from lighter materials by specific gravity. The machine consists of a vertical cylindrical body, supported on legs, and across the top a flexible diaphragm of appropriate material is draped, and fastened at the perimeter. The diaphragm forms a bowl-shaped depression, and is manipulated by a rotating assembly. The assembly having any number of arms, mounted in a fashion in which they are offset from the center of rotation, and extending radially nearly to the perimeter. The assembly is mounted on a vertical shaft which may be turned by a motor, or manually. The force of the arms, acting against the underside of the diaphragm, causes an upward projecting, moving wave in the diaphragm. Raw material is fed through a feed funnel to the center of the diaphragm, forming a conical pile. The pile is agitated by the moving wave, causing the heavier materials to sink down to the upper surface of the diaphragm while the lighter waste moves down and across the pile, and over the edge. The machine operates either with, or without water. The heavy materials, once in contact with the surface of the diaphragm, move down the slope of the diaphragm to the center. The heavy materials are encouraged to move more quickly and positively to the center by the offset nature of the arms, which cause a sweeping action to the materials in contact with the diaphragm. The sweeping action also assists in holding the heavy material at the center, and preventing its return to the waste stream.

Abstract:
A system for testing or debugging a device under test having an embedded logic analyzer. In one embodiment, the system includes software stored in non-transitory memory for testing a device under test having an embedded logic analyzer, the software program product having instructions which, when executed by a computing device associated with the device under test cause the computing device to reconstruct signals of interest in the device under test based at least in part upon signals captured by the embedded logic analyzer during the test or debug session, and cause the computing device to display the reconstructed signals of interest to a user of the computing device.
