    Abstract: Provided is a simulation device of a satellite, which updates a set value of a simulator, using a command signal transmitted to the satellite, operational data received from the satellite, and flight information. The simulation device of the satellite may comprise: a communication unit for receiving operational data from the satellite, and transmitting a command signal to the satellite; a flight control unit for calculating flight information of the satellite, using the received operational data; and an updating unit for updating a set value used for simulating an operation of the satellite, using at least one of the operational data, the command signal, and the flight information.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a passive microwave sounder for a satellite, having a fixed reflection plate. The passive microwave sounder for a satellite, having a fixed reflection plate includes: a motor 100 including a first rotary shaft 110 formed to extend in a progressing direction of a satellite; a first rotating reflection plate 200 forming a predetermined angle with respect to the ground surface of a nadir direction and having a first one-side surface 210 and a first other-side surface 220, the center of the first one-side surface 210 being coupled to and rotating with the first rotary shaft 110, such that the first one-side surface 210 and the first other-side surface 220 alternately face the ground surface, and the second other-side surface 220 reflecting incident electromagnetic waves; an auxiliary reflection part 300 reflecting the electromagnetic waves incident from the first other-side surface 220 to a predetermined position; a reception part 400 receiving the electromagnetic waves reflected from the auxiliary reflection part 300; and a fixed reflection plate 500 fixed above the first rotating reflection plate 200 at a predetermined angle with the ground surface and reflecting the electromagnetic waves to the first one-side surface 210 or the first other-side surface 220.

    Abstract: A drop testing apparatus is provided. The drop testing apparatus includes a plate connected to an external crane, a magnet holder provided at one end of the plate and fixed to the plate by an electromagnetic force, a counterweight provided at another end of the plate and facing the magnet holder, a dummy structure connected to the magnet holder through a connecting member and having a test specimen installed at one side thereof, a load cell unit provided between the dummy structure and the test specimen to measure impulse of the test specimen, and a controller configured to control the electromagnetic force to be created in the magnet holder and to receive the impulse measured by the load cell unit. When the electromagnetic force is cancelled, the connecting member disengages from the magnet holder, and the dummy structure and the test specimen fall onto the ground.

    Abstract: A Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver, a control method of the GPS receiver, and a GPS system are provided, which are capable of reducing an initial position check time using an SBAS signal transmitted from a SBAS satellite. The control method of a GPS receiver includes receiving an SBAS signal from a SBAS satellite and calculating a satellite clock and a satellite position of the GPS receiver using the received SBAS signal. The SBAS signal may contain a difference value between the ephemeris data and the almanac data of the GPS satellite. The difference value between the ephemeris data and the almanac data may include a satellite clock difference value and a satellite position difference value for the GPS satellite. Accordingly, it is possible to acquire the current position and time information more quickly and accurately, by shortening the initial position check time using the difference value between the ephemeris data and the almanac data included in the SBAS signal.
