Abstract: A sewing thread, whose twist factor is between 100 and 150, consists essentially of a fixed high-tenacity multifilament core, sheathed with a cover of staple fibers, the unit being wrapped with a multifilament yarn. The process of spinning this sewing thread is performed on a spinning frame. The core yarn and the roving of staple fibers are brought to drawing rolls in the drawing plane, and wrapping yarn is brought to the drawing rolls in an offset manner relative to the spinning plane.

Abstract: A constant velocity joint (1) comprising: a male element (2) with multiple arms (4), a female element (8) having a central axis (X′-X′) and defining tracks (9A, 9B) which are symmetrical in relation to a radial longitudinal plane (P), and an outer roller (12) with a rolling surface (30). The tracks and the rolling surface define two contact points (Z1, Z2) therebetween. The tangent planes of the track and rolling surface coincide and are parallel to the plane (P) at not less than one contact point. The cross profiles of the tracks and rolling surface at not less than one contact point are rectilinear or convex.

Abstract: A method to receive a signal transmitted over a transmission link comprising coded channels, the method comprising:—equalization operations (110-116) to compensate for signal distortion introduced by the transmission link in a signal burst, and—block decoding operations (120-126) to perform channel decoding operation from the equalized signal bursts. If one of the block decoding operations has not been executed before a predetermined time limit, the method comprises at least one step (146) of discarding one of the next burst equalization operations.
