Abstract:
Elevation mechanisms for table saws and anti-backdrive mechanisms for use in elevation mechanisms for table saws are disclosed. The anti-backdrive mechanisms typically include three sub-assemblies: an input assembly, an output assembly, and a fixed assembly. The anti-backdrive mechanisms prevent a torque related to the output assembly from changing the blade elevation. For example, the weight of the blade and the structure supporting the blade is prevented from backdriving the elevation mechanism and allowing the blade to drop.

Abstract:
A pocket hole jig tool system includes a base on which a workpiece is supported. A drill guide support is slidably mounted to the base. Drill guide bushings are movably mounted relative to the drill guide support for clampingly engaging the workpiece and for guiding a drill for engaging the workpiece. A stop collar assembly is adjustably mounted relative to the drill guide bushings to automatically ensure a proper pocket hole location and depth for the workpiece inserted in the tool system.

Abstract:
A jig apparatus for aiding in the formation of a variety of mechanically interconnecting structures or joints in workpieces. The jig apparatus may include a base and a template mounting system for adjustably positioning a template with respect to the base. A securing system for securing a workpiece in a desired position may be included. The jig apparatus may also include a repeatable template positioning system. Additionally, a quick-change template guide system may be used with a router and template for removing material from a workpiece. A router bit positioning system for aiding in establishing a pre-determined bit depth may be included.
