Abstract:
An audio playing device may operate in a first mode or a second mode. The audio playing device includes a speaker, an earphone jack receiving an earphone plug of an earphone, a sound output driver, a rotation angle detector, and a processor. The sound output driver only drives the speaker when the audio playing device operates in the first mode and only drives the earphone when the audio playing device operates in the second mode. The rotation angle detector generates a first mode change signal when the earphone plug is rotated in the earphone jack along a first direction over a predetermined angle. The processor changes operation of the audio playing device between the first mode and the second mode when the processor receives the first mode change signal from the rotation angle detector.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides a capturing apparatus and a capturing method for the capturing apparatus. The method includes steps: controlling the capturing unit to capture an image; performing an image processing function in relation to the captured image to obtain pixels of the captured image; comparing the pixels of the captured image with the pixels of the pre-stored standard images and determining whether a percentage of the pixels of the image is similar to the pixels of one of the standard images. If the percentage of the pixels of the image reaches a threshold of similarity to the pixels of one standard image, acquiring the parameters associated with the standard image; and controlling the capturing unit to capture subsequent images according to the parameters associated with the standard image.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides an emergency message transmission method and an electronic device implementing the method. The electronic device stores a reference voltage value and comprises a smoke assessing unit. The method includes steps: capturing air composition around the electronic device, assessing whether the air composition has changed, if the air composition has changed, detecting an electrical current of the smoke assessing unit, amplifying the electrical current and converting the amplified current to a voltage value, comparing the converted voltage value with the reference voltage value, judging whether the converted voltage value reaches the reference voltage value, and if the converted voltage value reaches the reference voltage value, outputting a signal including an emergency message.
