Abstract: Described herein is a millable fluorinated block copolymer having (a) at least one A block, wherein the A block is a semi-crystalline segment comprising repeating divalent monomeric units derived from at least TFE, HFP and VDF; (b) at least one B block, wherein the B block is a segment comprising repeating dilvalent monomeric units derived from at least HFP and VDF; and (c) a bisolefin monomer, wherein at least (i) the semi-crystalline segment of the A block comprises repeating divalent monomeric units derived from TFE, HFP, VDF, and the bisolefin monomer, (ii) the segment of the B block comprises repeating divalent monomeric units derived from HFP, VDF, and the bisolefin monomer, or (iii) a combination thereof; and wherein the millable fluorinated block copolymer has a modulus of 0.1 to 2.5 MPa at 100° C.

Abstract: A composition of solid particles comprising substantially inorganic, electronically conductive particles and fluoropolymer particles, wherein the fluoropolymer is melt-processable and has a melting point between 100° C. and 325° C. and a melt flow index at 372° C. and at 5 kg load (MFI 372/5) of at least 0.1 and up to 100 g/10 min, and wherein the fluoropolymer particles have a particle size of less than 500 nm and wherein the particles comprising the substantially inorganic, electronically conductive material is present in the form of particles having a particle size of less than 15,000 μm, and methods for producing such compositions and articles containing such compositions.

Abstract: Described herein is a method of making a fluoropolymer, the method comprising: providing an aqueous mixture comprising a fluorinated monomer, and an initiator; polymerizing the aqueous mixture under free radical conditions; and adding perfluoromethyl iodide during the polymerization to provide an aqueous dispersion of the fluoropolymer, wherein the amount of perfluorooctanoic acid or salt thereof in the aqueous dispersion of the fluoropolymer is not more than 25 nanograms per gram of the fluoropolymer.

Abstract: The composition includes a curable fluoropolymer having nitrogen-containing cure sites and a curative including an organo onium cation and an anion represented by Formula (I) or Formula (II). The composition is free of metal cations or has not more than 20 parts per million metal cations and free of silicon dioxide or has less than 0.5 percent by weight silicon dioxide, based on the total weight of the composition. In some cases, the composition consists of the curable fluoropolymer and the curative. Shaped articles including the composition, a fluoroelastomer prepared by curing the composition, a method of making a fluoroelastomer article, and a process for making the composition are also described.
