Abstract:
This invention relates to polyetheramines based on 1,3-dialcohols, in particular to an etheramine mixture comprising at least 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the etheramine mixture, of anamine of Formula (I) and/or (II), wherein R1-R12 are independently selected from H, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl, alkylaryl, or arylalkyl, wherein at least one of R1-R6 and at least one of R7-R12 is different from H, wherein A1-A9 are independently selected from linear or branched alkylenes having 2 to 18 carbon atoms, preferably 2-10 carbon atoms, most preferably 2-5 carbon atoms, wherein Z1-Z4 are independently selected from OH or NH2, wherein at least one of Z1-Z2 and at least one of Z3-Z4 is NH2, and wherein the sum of x+y is in the range of from 2 to 200, wherein x≧1 and y≧1; and x1+y1 is in the range of from 2 to 200, preferably 2-20, most preferably 2-10, wherein x1≧1 and y1≧1.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to 2,6-bis(aminomethyl)piperidine derivatives as such (in the following text abbreviated to “2,6-BAMP derivatives”) which are defined by the general formula (I) shown in the following text. In addition, the present invention relates to a process for preparing such 2,6-BAMP derivatives by hydrogenation of the corresponding 2,6-dicyanopiperidine derivatives (hereinafter abbreviated to “2,6-DCP derivatives”) in the presence of a catalyst. The present invention further provides for the use of the 2,6-BAMP derivatives of the invention as hardeners for epoxy resins, as intermediate in the preparation of diisocyanates, which play an important role in the production of polyurethanes, as starters in the preparation of polyetherols and/or as monomers for polyamide production. The present invention further relates to the diisocyanates as such prepared from the 2,6-BAMP derivatives and also the corresponding preparative process.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for producing a rechargeable electrochemical metal-oxygen cell, comprising at least one positive electrode, at least one negative metal-comprising electrode and at least one separator having two sides for separating the positive and negative electrodes, wherein, in one of the process steps, at least one side of the separator is coated with at least one material for forming one of the two electrodes (hereinafter referred to as electrode material) or at least one side of at least one of the two electrodes is coated with at least one material for forming the separator (hereinafter referred to as separator material) to form a separator-electrode assembly.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to sulfur-carbon composite materials comprising(A) at least one carbon composite material comprising (a) a carbonization product of at least one carbonaceous starting material, incorporating (aa) particles of at least one electrically conductive additive, the particles having an aspect ratio of at least 10, and (B) elemental sulfur. In addition, the present invention also relates to a process for producing inventive sulfur-carbon composite materials, to cathode materials for electrochemical cells comprising inventive sulfur-carbon composite materials, to corresponding electrochemical cells and to the use of carbon composite materials for production of electrochemical cells.
