Radical II. Radical III or Radical IV are each described herein.

Abstract: A modifier for forming sub-ambient temperature use containers includes (a) from 10 wt % to 50 wt % of a block composite, a specified block composite, or a crystalline block composite, (b) from 20 wt % to 90 wt % of a first polyolefin copolymer, the first polyolefin copolymer being derived from ethylene and at least one of a C3 to C10 alpha-olefin, having a melt index from 0.5 g/10 min to 1500 g/10 min, and having a density from 0.850 g/cm3 to 0.910 g/cm3, and (c) optionally, from 30 wt % to 70 wt % of a second polyolefin copolymer, the second polyolefin copolymer being derived from ethylene and at least one of a C3 to C10 alpha-olefin, having a melt index from 100 g/10 min to 2000 g/10 min, and having a density from 0.860 g/cm3 to 0.900 g/cm3.

Abstract: The invention provides a composition comprising at least the following components: A) an ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated polyene interpolymer that has the following properties: i) a rheology ratio (V0.1/V100 at 190° C.) greater than, or equal to, 35; ii) a weight average molecular weight (Mw) greater than, or equal to, 200,000 g/mol; and iii) a CCDB (Chemical Composition Distribution Breadth) less than 7; B) a thermoplastic polymer; C) a vulcanization agent; and wherein the interpolymer comprises incorporated oil. The invention also provides a composition comprising the following: A) a first composition comprising: a) a first ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated polyene interpolymer; b) a second ethylene/α-olefin/nonconjugated polyene interpolymer; and wherein the first composition has the following properties: i) an MWD less than, or equal to, 3.5, ii) a Mooney Viscosity (ML (1+4, 125° C.)) greater than, or equal to, 60, iii) a CCDB from 7 to 15; B) a thermoplastic polymer; C) a vulcanization agent; and wherein the first interpolymer and the second interpolymer comprise incorporated oil.

Abstract: Crosslinkable polymeric compositions comprising (a) 10 to 99 weight percent of an ethylene-based interpolymer having the following properties: (i) a density of 0.93 g/cm3 or less, (ii) a high-shear viscosity (V100) at 190° C. and 10% strain of 1,200 Pa-s or less, and (iii) a shear thinning ratio (V0.1/V100) at 190° C. and 10% strain of at least 8; and (b) 0 to less than 10 weight percent of a filler, where the ethylene-based interpolymer is not prepared in a high-pressure reactor. Such crosslinkable polymeric compositions may be employed as insulation layers in flexible power cables.
