Abstract:
A network management system comprises a unit for identifying a node, whose settings are to be modified, from design pattern information about a network to be managed; a unit for finding values of various timers included in the network management system and in the node whose settings are to be modified about the identified node based on a template for timer control; and a unit for causing the found values of the timers to be reflected simultaneously in the network management system and in the node whose settings are to be modified.
Abstract:
A VPN service management system enabling a customer to rapidly and easily change a VPN service condition, that is, a VPN service management system for managing a VPN service for a communication network provided with a customer network and a provider network and having a VPN service manager for managing a VPN service for a provider network and a VPN service agent for managing a VPN service for a customer network. The VPN service manager changes the VPN service condition in real time in accordance with an operation status of the customer network in cooperation with the VPN service agent.
Abstract:
A distortion compensator updating and selecting a distortion compensation coefficient applied to a digital transmission signal so as to reduce the difference between the digital transmission signal and a digital feedback signal is disclosed. The distortion compensator includes a control part that controls the level of an input signal to an analog-to-digital conversion part outputting the digital feedback signal in accordance with the magnitude of the amplitude of the digital transmission signal.
Abstract:
A power correction value generating unit determines a power correction value for minimizing an error, from a reference output power value of a carrier multiplexed signal, generating due to peak power suppression under a carrier setting based on the carrier setting relating to either one or both of the number of carrier signals and frequency arrangement, and peak suppression setting. An output power error correcting unit corrects a signal gain before or after the carrier signals are multiplexed, using the power correction value obtained by the power correction value generating unit. In an apparatus performing peak suppression according to an input limitation power of the power amplifier, it is possible to always obtain a desirable transmission (output) power even when the number of carriers or carrier frequency arrangement varies.
Abstract:
In a network employing code division multiplex access, a distortion compensation amplifying apparatus is provided which is capable of making quick response to carry out the distortion compensation with high accuracy even if the signal power to be inputted thereto varies rapidly. In this distortion compensation amplifying apparatus, the renewal of a distortion compensation coefficient in a renewing unit is complemented on the basis of a result of amplification in an amplifier with respect to a signal code-division-multiplexed in a pseudo-signal multiplexing unit.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method of rerouting a PVC route on an ATM network by previously defining an alternate route for the PVC route and by switching the PVC route to a previously defined alternate route when a fault occurs in a network element forming the PVC route. Further, the present invention relates to a network management system connected to a plurality of network elements, and includes an ATM network resource managing unit for managing resources included in the ATM network; a PVC connection managing unit connected to the element data collecting unit through the LAN or WAN for managing situation of connection of the PVC route; a PVC route searching unit for searching the PVC route; a fault event analyzing unit for receiving a fault from the fault notifying unit through the communication network when the fault occurs at any one of network elements, and analyzing the fault; an alternate route defining unit for previously defining the alternate route for the PVC; and an alternate route processing unit for switching a faulty route to the alternate route defined by the alternate route defining unit when the fault occurs at any one of network elements.
Abstract:
A path defining/changing/deleting section sets in advance the definition of the setup of a PVC connection in a PVC connection object management table as a PVC connection object. Each PVC connection object has an attribute indicating an active or inactive state. When a request is made by a reservation controlling section for activating or deactivating an object PVC connection, a PVC active/inactive state controlling section can immediately read from the PVC connection object management table a PVC connection object indicating the definition of the setup of the object PVC connection, to send commands based on the definition to each of network elements (NE) which comprise an information communications network.
Abstract:
A network management device for managing a plurality of network elements has a network element management data acquisition unit for acquiring, in stages, various management data possessed by the network elements when a session with a network element is resumed and when the network management device itself is started up, a rule management table for storing a dependence relationship between an operation and management data necessary to execute the operation, a feasible operation decision processing unit which, when an operation has been specified, refers to the dependence relationship to determine whether management data necessary to execute the operation has been acquired. If the necessary management data has been acquired, a network management execution unit executes network management conforming to the operation.
