    Abstract: A data-centric network and non-Real-Time (RT) RAN Intelligence Controller (RIC) architecture are described. The data-centric network architecture provides data plane functions (DPFs) that serve as a shared database for control functions, user functions and management functions for data plane resources in a network. The DPFs interact with control plane functions, user plane functions, management plane functions, compute plane functions, network exposure functions, and application functions of the NR network via a service interface. The non-RT RIC provides functions via rApps, manages the rApps, performs conflict mitigation and security functions, monitors machine learning (ML) performance, provides a ML model catalog that contains ML model information, provides interface terminations and stores ML data and Near-RT RIC related information in a database. An ML training host trains and evaluates ML models in the catalog, obtains training and testing data from the database, and retrains and updates the ML models.

    Abstract: Various embodiments herein include techniques to indicate a reference subcarrier spacing (SCS) in a soft resource availability configuration for an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) distributed unit (DU)/mobile terminal (MT). For example, the reference SCS may be included in soft resource availability radio resource control (RRC) configuration AvailabilityCombinationsPerCell. Additionally, embodiments include mechanisms for dynamic soft availability indication with paired spectrum operation (e.g., frequency division duplex (FDD) operation).     Abstract: Embodiments of apparatus, computer-implemented methods, systems, devices, and computer-readable media are described herein for a user equipment (“UE”) to generate, for transmission to a remote entity executing on a remote computing device in communication with the UE over an air interface of an Evolved Universal Terrestrial Radio Access Network (“EUTRAN”), a container that includes UE or base station (e.g., Evolved Node B, or “eNB”) configuration data (e.g., an inactivity time interval), or over-the-top (“OTT”) application configuration data. In embodiments, the UE may transmit the container through a logical tunnel passing through the air interface between a local processing entity executing on the computing device and the remote entity. A base station such as an eNB may be similarly configured to generate and/or transmit, to a UE, a container with UE, base station, or OTT application configuration data, through a logical tunnel passing through the air interface.
