    Abstract: A sensor-equipped display device is provided and includes a display panel and a detection electrode. The panel includes a display area in which pixels are arranged with a first pixel pitch in a first direction and a second pixel pitch in a second direction. The electrode includes an pattern having line fragments.     Abstract: A sensor-equipped display device includes a display panel comprising a common electrode; a sensor comprising a plurality of detection electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, each of the detection electrodes including a first electrode and a second electrode which are opposed to the common electrode, are divided and extend in the first direction, each of the first electrode and the second electrode including a gradient in width in the first direction in the detection electrode, the gradient in width of the first electrode and the gradient in width of the second electrode being inclined in opposite directions; and a controller configured to effect switching to either a first mode or a second mode, and to control driving of the common electrode and the detection electrodes, wherein the sensor further comprises a dummy electrode disposed between neighboring detection electrodes.

    Abstract: According to an aspect, a touch detecting device includes: a first drive area and a second drive area each including drive electrodes and detection electrodes, the drive electrodes extending in a first direction, being arrayed in a second direction intersecting with the first direction, and being applied with a drive signal, the detection electrodes extending in the second direction, being arrayed in the first direction, and outputting a detection signal. Application of the drive signal to the drive electrodes in the second drive area is stopped at a timing to apply the drive signal to the drive electrodes arranged in a first predetermined area included in the first drive area, and application of the drive signal to the drive electrodes in the first drive area is stopped at a timing to apply the drive signal to a second predetermined area included in the second drive area.

    Abstract: In a display apparatus provided with an electrophoresis layer, such a display apparatus as to improve the response performance of a touch detection is provided.     Abstract: A display device includes a substrate, a plurality of pixel electrodes, a switching element, and a first electrode. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The pixel electrodes are provided to the first surface side and supplied with a pixel signal for displaying an image. The switching element is provided to the first surface side and coupled to the pixel electrodes. The first electrode is provided to a layer closer to the first surface than the switching element in a manner facing the switching element in a direction perpendicular to the first surface of the substrate and having lower light transmittance than that of the substrate.
