Abstract: Provided is a display device including a plurality of pixels at least one of which has a first transistor and a light-emitting element. The first transistor includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating film over the gate electrode, an oxide semiconductor film over the gate insulating film, and a first terminal and a second terminal electrically connected to the semiconductor film. The second terminal is electrically connected to the light-emitting element. A region in which the first terminal overlaps with the gate electrode can be smaller than a region in which the second terminal overlaps with the gate electrode.

Abstract: A display device includes: a plurality of pixel electrodes; a plurality of pixel circuits below the plurality of pixel electrodes; some scan lines, each of the scan lines being connected to a corresponding one group of the plurality of pixel circuits; and a scan drive circuit configured to selectively send scanning signals to the scan lines. The plurality of pixel electrodes include effective pixel electrodes corresponding to respective pixels constituting a displayed image, and dummy pixel electrodes between the effective pixel electrodes and the scan drive circuit and corresponding to none of the respective pixels. Each of the effective pixel electrodes is connected to a corresponding one of the plurality of pixel circuits. Each of the scan lines is electrically connected to the scan drive circuit through a corresponding at least one of the dummy pixel electrodes.

Abstract: A multi-piece substrate integrally having a plurality of product regions each provided with a light-emitting element driven by a current and a blank region adjacent to each of the plurality of product regions is prepared. The current is passed through a cathode pad and an anode pad to inspect the light-emitting element. A plurality of display panels are cut out from the multi-piece substrate so as to respectively correspond to the plurality of product regions. The multi-piece substrate includes a plurality of first test pads disposed in each of the plurality of product regions for inspecting the light-emitting element, and a plurality of second test pads disposed in the blank region for inspecting the light-emitting element. The cathode pad and the anode pad are included in the plurality of first test pads and are not included in the plurality of second test pads.

Abstract: A lower base surface of wirings includes a stepped portion with upper surfaces having mutually different heights and stepped surfaces rising from respective upper surfaces. Each upper surface and the stepped surface form a projecting portion rising in each normal direction and constitute a first recessed corner portion immediately below the wirings and a second recessed corner portion at the tip of the projecting portion in the normal direction of the stepped surface. A first interval exists between the adjacent wirings. The first recessed corner portion has a first height. The second recessed corner portion has a second height and a second width in the first direction. The second width is smaller than the first interval, the second height is lower than the first height, or both the second width is smaller than the first interval and the second height is lower than the first height.

Abstract: Disclosed is a display device including: a driving transistor, a first switching transistor, and a pixel transistor each having a gate and a pair of terminals; a storage capacitor having a pair of terminals; and a light-emitting element having an input terminal and an output terminal. One terminal of the driving transistor is electrically connected to one terminal of the pixel transistor. The other terminal of the driving transistor is electrically connected to one terminal of the first switching transistor and the input terminal of the light-emitting element. The other terminal of the first switching transistor is electrically connected to the gate of the driving transistor and one terminal of the capacitor. The one terminal of the capacitor overlaps with an active region of the driving transistor.
