Abstract: A toilet comprising a tank configured to hold a first supply of water therein; a bowl having an inlet and an outlet, wherein the inlet is in fluid communication with the tank, such that the bowl is configured to receive the first supply of water; and a passage having a first end, a second end, and an inlet opening provided between the first end and the second end, wherein the first end is in fluid communication with the outlet of the bowl, wherein the second end is configured to be in fluid communication with a drain pipe, and wherein the passage is configured to receive a second supply of water through the inlet opening during a flush cycle.

Abstract: A touchless actuation system for a toilet includes a touchless sensor, a motor assembly, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to receive a signal from the touchless sensor and to detect an object within a detection region based on the signal. The touchless sensor lacks an optical path to the detection region. In some embodiments, the touchless sensor is a projected capacitive sensor. The processing circuit is configured to activate the motor assembly upon detecting the object and the motor assembly is configured to actuate flushing of the toilet when activated by the processing circuit.

Abstract: An electro-chlorinating device includes a housing and a pair of electrodes. The housing comprises a reservoir; an inlet port fluidly coupled to the reservoir; and a discharge device fluidly coupled to the reservoir. The discharge device is configured to be fluidly coupled to a plumbing product. The discharge device is configured to release a fluid from the reservoir into the plumbing product in response to a movement of water through the plumbing product. Abstract: A method of flushing a toilet that includes opening a first valve to introduce a first supply of grey water into a passage to prime a siphon; opening a second valve to introduce a second supply of water into a bowl from a tank, the bowl having an outlet that is in fluid communication with an inlet of the passage; closing the first valve to shut off the first supply of water, evacuating the contents of the bowl through an outlet of the passage by way of the siphon generated by the introduction of the first supply of water and the introduction of the second supply of water; and closing the second valve to shut off the second supply of water.

Abstract: A toilet includes a bowl with a sump and a trapway connecting the sump to an outlet of the toilet. The trapway has a zeta shape and is configured to induce a siphon which provides pressure to suction waste water from the bowl during a flush cycle. A trapway supply conduit is connected to the trapway in a tangential orientation to an upleg region of the trapway. The trapway supply conduit supplies water to the trapway, which follows a contour of the inner surface of the trapway supply conduit and continues in the same direction into the upleg region of the trapway by relying on a fluid flow to follow the curve of a convex surface placed proximate to the flow.
