Abstract: A toilet assembly includes a toilet, a non-vitreous fluid delivery component, and a connector assembly. The non-vitreous fluid delivery component is coupled to, and in fluid communication with, the toilet. The connector assembly couples the non-vitreous fluid delivery component to the toilet in a substantially watertight manner. The connector assembly includes a connector body, a nut adjustably coupled to the connector body, and a sealing member disposed on the connector body. The nut is configured to be adjusted relative to the connector body to cause the connector body to compress the sealing member against a portion of the toilet, such that the sealing member creates a substantially watertight seal between the toilet and the connector body.

Abstract: A toilet having a one piece structure, a flush valve, and a seal. The structure includes a base having a fluid channel in fluid communication with a bowl; a tank having an internal compartment; a wall disposed between the tank and the base, the wall having an opening fluidly connecting the internal compartment and the fluid channel; and a retaining structure in the internal compartment. The flush valve has a valve body including an inner wall, which is disposed in the opening and extends from a first end in fluid communication with the internal compartment to a second end in fluid communication with the fluid channel, and a locking flange extending radially outward from the inner wall, the locking flange being retained between the retaining structure and the wall in a locking position. Abstract: A method for installing a skirted toilet having a pedestal and a bowl, the method comprising securing a trap to a soil pipe, the trap having a base and a passageway configured to be fluidly connected between the bowl of the toilet and the soil pipe, wherein the base comprises a clamping member pivotally coupled thereto; positioning the pedestal over the trap to fluidly couple the bowl to the trap such that an opening in a wall of the pedestal is substantially aligned with an opening in the clamping member; and securing the toilet to the trap by inserting an adjusting member through the opening of the pedestal and into the opening of the clamping member and rotating the adjusting member to pivot the clamping member into engagement with the adjusting member.

Abstract: A toilet has a trapway extending between a bowl opening and a toilet outlet opening. A heel links and provides a bend between a down leg and an out leg of the trapway. The heel has a cross-sectional profile having a major dimension and a minor dimension. The major dimension increases as the down leg transitions into the heel and reduces as the heel transitions into the out leg. This heel configuration in the trapway forms a siphon during a flushing action of the toilet.
