    Abstract: A touch sensing method for a touch panel and an electronic device are provided. The touch panel includes touch sensing units. The touch sensing method includes: in a first sensing period, applying touch excitation signals to a first group of the touch sensing units to obtain first touch sensing signals; applying touch reference signals to a second group of the touch sensing units to obtain a first reference sensing signal; in a second sensing period, applying the touch excitation signals to the second group of the touch sensing units to obtain second touch sensing signals; applying the touch reference signal to the first group of the touch sensing units to obtain a second reference sensing signal; and acquiring capacitance values of the touch sensing units according to the first touch sensing signals, the first reference sensing signal, the second touch sensing signals, and the second reference sensing signal.

    Abstract: A touch sensing method, apparatus for a touch panel, and electronic device are provided. The method includes: determining a first number of to-sense touch sensing circuits, and determining a second number of reference touch sensing circuits, each to-sense touch sensing circuit having a corresponding reference touch sensing circuit; causing each to-sense touch sensing circuit to receive a touch excitation signal TX1, and apply TX1 to a corresponding touch sensitive cell and receive a touch sensing signal therefrom, and output a first output signal; causing each reference touch sensing circuit to receive a touch reference signal DC/TX2, and apply DC/TX2 to a corresponding touch sensitive cell and receive a reference sensing signal therefrom, wherein DC/TX2 and TX1 are different signals; and obtaining, according to respective first and second output signals, a capacitance difference of capacitances sensed by each to-sense touch sensing circuit and its corresponding reference touch sensing circuit.

    Abstract: A touch display device and an operation method thereof are provided. The touch display device includes a touch display panel, a power management circuit, a display driving circuit, and a touch circuit. The display driving circuit drives the touch display panel to display an image, and notifies the power management circuit to perform a voltage adjustment of a common voltage supplied to the touch display panel in a voltage adjustment period. The touch circuit individually performs a touch sensing operation on multiple sensing lines of a touch sensing layer of the touch display panel, so as to generate multiple touch sensing data corresponding to the sensing lines. The touch circuit ignores the touch sensing data corresponding to the voltage adjustment period, or the touch circuit suspends performing the touch sensing operation on the sensing lines of the touch sensing layer during the voltage adjustment period.

    Abstract: The driving apparatus for driving a touch display panel includes a first voltage generating circuit configured to generate a common reference voltage, a second voltage generating circuit configured to generate a touch driving signal, and a control circuit configured to generate a switching signal. The switching signal is at the first voltage level during display periods for providing the common reference voltage to the touch display panel. The switching signal is at the second voltage level during touch periods for providing the touch driving signal to the touch display panel. A first touch display period includes a first display period a first touch period adjacent to the first display period. A second touch display period includes a second display period and a second touch period adjacent to the second display period. The first touch display period and the second touch display period are different in time length.

The touch sensing method includes: selecting a portion of multiple touch sensing units as to-sense touch sensing units, applying first touch excitation signals to the those to obtain multiple first touch sensing signals, and obtaining multiple differential sensing signals based on multiple first touch sensing signals; selecting a touch sensing unit as a reference touch sensing unit, and applying a touch reference signal to it to obtain a reference sensing signal; selecting a to-sense touch sensing unit as a preprocessing touch sensing unit, and applying a second touch excitation signal to it to obtain a second touch sensing signal; obtaining a capacitance sensing signal from the reference sensing signal and the second touch sensing signal; and acquiring capacitance values of multiple to-sense touch sensing units according to the differential sensing signals and the capacitance sensing signal.

    Abstract: A sensing circuit of a display device is provided. The sensing circuit includes a chopper circuit, a first operational amplifier and a filter. The chopper circuit is configured to receive a sensing input signal of the display device and modulate the sensing input signal. The first operational amplifier is coupled to the chopper circuit. The first operational amplifier is configured to receive the modulated sensing input signal and output the modulated sensing input signal to the chopper circuit. The chopper circuit is further configured to demodulate the modulated sensing input signal from the first operational amplifier and output the demodulated sensing input signal. The filter is coupled to the chopper circuit. The filter is configured to filter the demodulated sensing input signal from the chopper circuit and output the filtered sensing input signal as a sensing output signal. A source driver including the sensing circuit is also provided.
