Abstract: A communication apparatus includes circuitry and a transmitter. The circuitry sets a number of physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates per aggregation level in a search space of a signal, and indicates the set number of PDCCH candidates to a user equipment (UE) wherein the search space is monitored by the UE based on the set number of PDCCH candidates. The transmitter transmit the signal. A maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot depends on a subcarrier interval. A first subcarrier interval is one-quarter as wide as a second subcarrier interval, and a first maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot with the first subcarrier interval is not four times as high as a second maximum number of monitored PDCCH candidates per slot with the second subcarrier interval.

A transmission bandwidth of the response signal is equal to or lower than a transmission bandwidth of the downlink data corresponding to the response signal.

Abstract: A resource assignment determiner determines a resource for a PDSCH intended for an MTC terminal, and a transmitter transmits an MPDCCH that includes resource assignment bits indicating the resource thus determined and transmits the PDSCH using the resource thus determined. The MPDCCH is a PDCCH intended for the MTC terminal. The resource assignment bits are associated with a resource that is used when the MPDCCH and the PDSCH are transmitted in the same subframe and a resource that is used when the MPDCCH and the PDSCH are transmitted in different subframes.

The transmission power determination unit reserves desired transmission power for the uplink signal of the second TTI in the first TTI in a case where decoding of the downlink control information indicative of allocation of the uplink signal of the second TTI to be transmitted within the first TTI (e.g., a subframe) is completed before start of transmission of the uplink signal of the first TTI.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a resource allocation procedure for allocating time-frequency radio resources by a scheduler in a mobile communication system. A plurality of numerology schemes are defined, each partitioning a plurality of radio resources of the mobile communication system into resource scheduling units in a different manner. A reference resource set is defined per numerology scheme, each being associated to a set of radio resources usable for being allocated according to the respective numerology scheme. The reference resource set of at least one numerology scheme overlaps with the reference resource set of at least another numerology scheme in the frequency and/or time domain. The resource allocation procedure is performed for allocating radio resources to one or more user terminals according to the numerology schemes. The resource allocation procedure is performed for each numerology scheme based on a scheduling time interval defined for the respective numerology scheme.
