    Abstract: A terminal device comprising: a reception unit configured to detect a downlink control information (DCI) format for scheduling a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH); a transmission unit configured to transmit the PUSCH; and a control unit configured to determine to use one of a first process for the PUSCH and a second process for the PUSCH, at least based on how the PUSCH is scheduled: wherein the first process is a resource determination process which is given based on a first configuration of multiple first resource block(RB)-sets, the second process is a resource determination process which is given based on a second configuration of multiple second RB-sets, the multiple first RB- sets and one or more first intra-cell guard bands which corresponds to the multiple first RB-sets fully occupies the carrier, and the multiple second RB-sets and one or more second intra-cell guard bands which corresponds to the multiple second RB-sets fully occupies the carrier.

    Abstract: A terminal apparatus includes: a receiver configured to receive a physical downlink control channel to which a downlink control information format is mapped, and receive a physical downlink shared channel to which a transport block is mapped, the physical downlink shared channel being scheduled by the physical downlink control information format; and a transmitter configured to transmit HARQ-ACK information corresponding to the transport block on a physical uplink control channel. A first time signal for the physical uplink control channel and a second time signal for the physical uplink control channel are generated based on contents of a resource element in an OFDM symbol. The first time signal is present in the OFDM symbol. A demodulation reference signal for the physical uplink control channel is mapped to the resource element, based on the OFDM symbol. The second time signal is transmitted before the OFDM symbol.
