Abstract:
An apparatus and a method. The apparatus includes an image representation unit configured to receive a sequence of frames generated from events sensed by a dynamic vision sensor (DVS) and generate a confidence map from non-noise events; and an image denoising unit connected to the image representation unit and configured to denoise an image in a spatio-temporal domain. The method includes receiving, by an image representation unit, a sequence of frames generated from events sensed by a DVS, and generating a confidence map from non-noise events; and denoising, by an image denoising unit connected to the image representation unit, images formed from the frames in a spatio-temporal domain.
Abstract:
Disclosed is an image adjustment apparatus including a receiver which is configured to receive a first input image of an object which is time-synchronously captured and a second input image in which a motion event of the object is sensed time-asynchronously, and an adjuster which is configured to adjust the first input image and the second input image.
Abstract:
A synapse array based on a static random access memory (SRAM), a pulse shaper circuit, and a neuromorphic system are provided. The synapse array includes a plurality of synapse circuits. At least one synapse circuit among the plurality of synapse circuits includes at least one bias transistor and at least two cut-off transistors, and the at least one synapse circuit is configured to charge a membrane node of a neuron circuit connected with the at least one synapse circuit using a sub-threshold leakage current that passed through the at least one bias transistor.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for detecting spike event or transmitting spike event information generated in a neuromorphic chip. The apparatus for detecting spike event generated in a neuromorphic chip may detect spike event information for a plurality of neurons included in the neuromorphic chip based on a neuron group.

An event-based sensor includes: a pixel array having a plurality of pixels, and configured to output an activation signal in response to sensing an input to the pixel array; and a controller configured to output a control signal for supplying power selectively to the pixels based on the activation signal or a user input so that a portion of the pixels is powered on while another portion of the pixels is powered off.
Abstract:
An event filtering device and a motion recognition device using thereof are provided. The motion recognition device includes an emitter configured to emit an infrared ray in a pattern; a detector configured to detect events in a visible ray area and an infrared ray area; a filter configured to determine whether at least one portion of the detected events is detected using the infrared ray in the pattern, and filter the detected events based on a result of the determination; and a motion recognizer configured to perform motion recognition based on a detected event accepted by the filter.
Abstract:
A synapse circuit to perform spike timing dependent plasticity (STDP) operation is provided. The synapse circuit includes a memristor having a resistance value, a transistor connected to the memristor, and the transistor configured to receive at least two input signals. The resistance value of the memristor is changed based on a time difference between the at least two input signals received by the transistor.
Abstract:
An apparatus for recognizing a proximity motion using sensors may include a first sensor to sense a first input region, a second sensor to sense a second input region distinct from the first input region, and an information transfer controller to transfer information related to a transition, between the first sensor and the second sensor.
