    Abstract: An electronic device is disclosed. The disclosed electronic device comprises a first touch screen display, a second touch screen display, a processor, and a memory, wherein the memory, when executed, can store instructions configured such that the processor determines, to be one touch event, a signal corresponding to a first touch input and a signal corresponding to a second touch input on the basis of the area of the first touch input and/or the area of the second touch input when the signal corresponding to the first touch input is received through the first touch screen display and the signal corresponding to the second touch input is received sequentially, or substantially at the same time, by the second touch screen display. Additional various embodiments are possible.

    Abstract: An electronic device and method for recognizing a touch input on the electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a touch panel and a processor. The processor configured to determine the type of an object contacting the touch panel, set, when the object is of a first type, a threshold for touch recognition on the touch panel to a first designated value, set, when the object is of a second type, the threshold to a second designated value, and recognize a touch input by the object on the basis of the threshold set to one of the first designated value and the second designated value.

    Abstract: A method of processing touch events and an electronic device adapted to the method are provided. The electronic device includes: a touch screen; a processor electrically connected to the touch screen; a touch control circuit, electrically connected to the touch screen and the processor, the touch control circuit configured to create a touch event in response to a touch input detected on the touch screen; and a memory electrically connected to the processor. The processor is configured to execute at least one application stored in the memory, to determine attribute information of the executed application, to generate touch area information containing an attribute corresponding to at least part of the area of the touch screen and information regarding at least part of the area of the touch screen, based on the attribute information, and to provide the touch area information to the touch control circuit. The touch control circuit determines whether a touch event corresponding to the detected touch input is created, based on the touch area information.
