Abstract:
A mediation computer accepts service linkage request condition information, which indicates a service linkage condition and requests service linkage, from a first service providing computer and accepts service linkage permission condition information, which indicates a condition for permitting service linkage, from a second service providing computer. The mediation computer generates a linkage service list, which shows a combination of services that can be linked, on the basis of the accepted service linkage request condition information and service linkage permission condition information. It becomes possible to provide a user with linkage service including a plurality of combined services by which both of the user and the servicer can request merits.
Abstract:
It is an object to eliminate possibilities in which newest backup data cannot be created owing to overwriting of data update records when performing backup using a duplicating system. The data backup system, including an active system as a computer system of a backup source and a standby system as a computer system of a backup destination, is provided in such that a communication settings judging section is provided in the standby system for actively changing settings of a data communicating section for transferring data update records to thereby prevent overwriting of portions among data update records that are necessary for creating newest backup data.
Abstract:
In a fuel vapor purge system, a diagnosis section inclusive of a fuel tank is pressurized from the generation of fuel vapor in the fuel tank has been finished after an operation of an engine was stopped, and the diagnosis is performed based on a pressure in the diagnosis section.
Abstract:
A dialogue system, a dialogue method, and a recording medium storing a computer program are provided for allowing a third party to assist effectively a plurality of dialogues, without causing a sense of discomfort to the users. In a dialogue system for performing automatic answering to a voice, a dialogue assistance apparatus is provided that is connected in a state permitting transmission and reception of data. The dialogue assistance apparatus performs the following operations of suspending a dialogue when the dialogue is not established meaningfully; displaying a plurality of recognition candidates for an utterance received last in the dialogue suspended by the dialogue suspending means; receiving one recognition candidate selected from a plurality of the candidates; and sending out the selected candidate. When the one candidate is received from the dialogue assistance apparatus, the dialogue is resumed according to the dialogue scenario information starting at the portion having been suspended.
Abstract:
A device for controlling an internal combustion engine, comprising a variable valve mechanism for varying opening areas (valve lift) or the working angles (valve-opening periods) of at least either the intake valves or the exhaust valves, wherein a pressure in the cylinder is calculated based on the opening area or the working angle of at least either the intake valve or the exhaust valve varied by the variable valve mechanism, and the internal combustion engine is controlled based on the pressure in the cylinder. Upon calculating the pressure in the cylinder based on the opening areas or the working angles of the intake and exhaust valves, it is possible to more suitably control the internal combustion engine based not only upon the peak combustion pressure in the cylinder like when a combustion pressure sensor is used but also upon a pressure in the cylinder at a moment other than the peak combustion pressure.
Abstract:
To reduce operational and management costs during normal operations while recovering a database without loss and maintaining on-line performance on a site. A first system includes a primary storage system (103) that stores a DB (107) and a main computer (100) that executes a primary DBMS (101), which provides a DB. A second system includes a secondary (113) that receives from the primary storage system (103) a copy of a log, which shows update differences of the DB (107), and stores a secondary DBMS (117), and a subset (500) that recovers the secondary DB (117) according to the log that is copied from the primary storage system (103). When a failure occurs in the first system, the first system is switched to the second system. A second computer (110) that executes a second DBMS (111) is added to the second system, and the secondary DB (117) that is recovered or is being recovered in the subset (500) is taken over to the second computer (110).
Abstract:
A fuel feed system for an internal combustion engine includes a fuel tank for accumulating fuel, a fuel/air switchable pump for sucking and discharging accumulated fuel and air outside the fuel tank, a first device that allows accumulated fuel to be discharged to the engine, a second device that allows outside air to be sucked into the fuel tank, and an ECU for controlling the switchable pump.
Abstract:
In a fuel vapor purge system, a diagnosis section inclusive of a fuel tank is pressurized from the generation of fuel vapor in the fuel tank has been finished after an operation of an engine was stopped, and the diagnosis is performed based on a pressure in the diagnosis section.
Abstract:
To enhance the targeting accuracy in providing services such as provision of samples for members by performing management of member information and authentication while securing personal anonymity. There is provided a center server and a store terminal. The center server gives a unique ID to a member application, sends it to a particular mobile information terminal and manages it as authentication information about a member who is the user of the mobile information terminal. In response to purchases of a particular article by the member, the store terminal inputs the ID from the mobile information terminal and inputs purchase information about the article the member purchases. The center server then acquires attribute information about a member identified by the ID. Then, by checking the purchase information, the attribute information and service information set in association with attribute information about the member and kinds of articles and stored in particular storage means, information about a service to be provided for the member is identified.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a polyester resin composition for engine peripheral parts, the resin composition comprising at least one polymer selected from the group consisting of polyethylene terephthalate and an ethylene terephthalate copolymer; an inorganic reinforcement material; and an olefin polymer, wherein a molded article produced from the resin composition has a flexural strain at break of 3.5% or higher and a deflection temperature under load of 180° C. or higher.
