Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an interchangeable spectacles and clip-on assembly. The interchangeable spectacles and clip-on assembly comprises a spectacle unit including a pair of prescription lenses, a frame unit configured to be detachably attached to the spectacle unit and adapted to serve as a framework constituting spectacles, and a clip-on including a pair of sunshade lenses and adapted to be detachably attached to the spectacles consisting of the spectacle unit and frame unit, to selectively serve as sunglasses. The frame unit includes a pair of U-shaped or inverted U-shaped lens frames having an open upper or lower end and intended so as not to receive lenses, and a frame bridge to connect the lens frames to each other. A frame magnet is fixed at each outer end of the frame unit, a spectacle magnet is fixed at each outer end of the spectacle unit, and a clip magnet is fixed at each outer end of the clip-on.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a spectacles and sunshade clip assembly. The assembly comprises spectacles including a pair of lens frames, and a pair of hinges affixed to opposite outer ends of the lens, and a sunshade clip including a pair of sunshade lens frames connected to each other by means of a bridge. The sunshade clip further comprises a pair of magnet ribs affixed to opposite outer ends of the sunshade lens frames to linearly extend across only a relatively short distance in a longitudinal direction of the sunshade clip. A respective one of the hinges provided at the spectacles is spaced apart forward from a reference line having a radius of curvature defined by inner surfaces of the lens frames, so that a portion thereof, coming into contact with a corresponding one of the lens frames, forms a forwardly-protruding portion. The forwardly-protruding portion is formed as a recessed magnet-mounting portion to receive a corresponding one of the magnets.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for compensating a radio frequency distortion caused by a sample/hold operation of a digital/analog converter in an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission system, and a method thereof. In a digital transmission system, an edge frequency signal of a transmission signal band is distorted by a sample/hold operation of a digital/analog converter such that a signal attenuation is generated at a frequency domain by a sync function having a zero point at a sample frequency of a transmission signal. In the present invention, the signal distortion may be compensated by multiplying a coefficient of an inverse sync function by a signal weight value at the frequency domain, and it may be compensated by using a single multiplier and a lookup table storing the coefficient of the inverse sync function.
Abstract:
Provided are an apparatus and a method for downloading Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) data in a mobile communication system, which includes an authentication server that stores authentication information and a list of registered networks; a service provider server that stores SIM data and transmits the SIM data in response to a request for the SIM data; and a mobile communication terminal that receives user authentication from the authenticating server, checks the list of the networks, allows a network, which is to be accessed, to be selected from among the list of the networks, and accesses the service provider server in the selected network so as to download the SIM data.
Abstract:
Provided are a method for measuring a variable bandwidth wireless channel, and a transmitter and a receiver therefore. The transmitter, includes: a pre-processing unit for performing variable over-sampling and band-limited filtering on an original sequence for measuring the wireless channel according to a pre-determined digital-to-analog (D/A) operation speed and measurement bandwidth, and creating and storing a probing sequence whose frequency is up-converted into a fixed transmitting intermediate frequency; and a real-time processing unit for transmitting a probing signal that the stored probing sequence is converted according to the D/A operation speed to the wireless channel.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a method and a device for dynamically changing the display of a picture according to the degree of tilt of a mobile terminal without any separate key input. The degree of tilt refers to the angle at which the mobile terminal is tilted with respect to a reference plane, and the degree of tilt is calculated using a geomagnetic sensor.
Abstract:
A stub printed antenna (SPDA) and a method of designing the same are provided. The SPDA include: a substrate; dipole arms disposed at both surfaces of the substrate for transmitting/receiving a signal; a parallel metal strip line disposed at both surfaces of the substrate, and each having one end connected to each of the dipole arms; a stub disposed at both surfaces of the substrate, and connected to the other end of the parallel metal strip line; a coaxial probe connected to the junction of the parallel metal strip line and the stub for feeding signals; a hole for inserting an inner conductor of the coaxial probe; and a contact for connecting to an outer conductor of the coaxial probe.
Abstract:
There is provided a windmill-shaped loop antenna including: a dielectric substrate; a first radiation unit disposed on a top surface of the dielectric substrate and including a metal pattern having loop pieces; a second radiation unit disposed at a bottom surface of the dielectric substrate and including a metal pattern having loop pieces arranged not to face the loop pieces of the first radiation unit; and a plurality of identical transmission line from a center of the top and bottom surfaces of the dielectric substrate to the first and second radiation units, which form windmill-shaped metal pattern with the first and second radiation unit.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a spectacles and sunshade-clip assembly in which a sunshade-clip is detachably attached to spectacles by use of a plurality of magnets. The sunshade-clip includes clip magnets inserted into magnet ribs at opposite ends of the sunshade-clip, and at least one clip bridge magnet inserted into a clip bridge. The spectacles include spectacle magnets inserted into hinge members at opposite ends of the spectacles to correspond to the clip magnets, and at least one spectacle bridge magnet inserted into a spectacle bridge to correspond to the clip bridge magnet. When the magnets of the sunshade-clip are coupled to the magnets of the spectacles, the magnets are positioned to be spaced apart forward from arc axes that are center axes of curved spectacle lens frames.
