The die release agent composition includes a mineral oil or a synthetic oil, a solid lubricant, a thermosetting resin, and a polymer compound. The die release agent composition is used by being applied to the inner surface of a die for casting or forging.

A tubular threaded element including a dry protective coating. The coating includes a solid matrix adhering to the substrate in which there are dispersed particles of at least one solid lubricant belonging to one and the same class. The solid matrix is lubricating and has a rheological behaviour of plastic or viscoplastic type. The coating protects the threadings of the threaded elements, used for example in hydrocarbon wells, from corrosion and galling.

A method of producing a nanoparticle by milling layered materials is provided. Also disclosed is a method of making a lubricant, the method including milling layered materials to form nanoparticles and incorporating the nanoparticles into a base to form a lubricant.

The invention relates to lubricating grease compositions having a base oil mixture based on oils having viscosities (ISO VG 2 to ISO VG 1500) that are standard for industrial lubricants, an ionic liquid, a thickening agent, e.g., based on a polyurea compound and conventional additives that can be used at current service temperatures that are higher than 120° C. to 260° C., in particular at a service temperature in the region of high service temperatures that are higher than 180° C. to 260° C. and also at low temperatures as low as −60° C. The invention also relates to a method for producing said type of lubricating grease compositions.
