Abstract:
The present invention relates to an adhesive composition for optical use, which is applied to optical devices or display devices and thus may exhibit excellent adhesion performance while exhibiting a high barrier performance based on a low water vapor transmission rate, and may implement both excellent optical characteristics and durability, and specifically, provides an adhesive composition for optical use, the adhesive composition including: a thermally curable rubber including an isobutylene-isoprene rubber having a carboxyl group and an isobutylene-isoprene rubber having a hydroxy group; and a thermal crosslinking agent. Further, the present invention provides an adhesive film for optical use, including an adhesive layer including photocured products of the adhesive composition for optical use.
Abstract:
An adhesive resin composition includes an expandable sticky polymer having a structure derived from a Meldrum's acid derivative, or a Meldrum's acid derivative represented by the following general formula (1) and an adhesive resin.
Abstract:
Adhesive copolymers and methods for preparing them are disclosed. An adhesive copolymer may be prepared from a reaction mixture containing monosaccharide monomers and dicarboxylic monomers. The monosaccharide monomers may include any of a number of C5 and/or C6 monosaccharides.
Abstract:
The invention relates to cured (meth)acrylate based adhesive composition, comprising at least two co-continuous phases of interpenetrating networks and at least two types of polymeric inclusions, in which one of the co-continuous phases comprises a polymer or copolymer based on at least one acrylic or methacrylic acid monomer or a derivative thereof. These compositions exhibit better facture toughness, especially at low temperatures.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a curable resin composition and its application to laminate film, which can form a coating film having excellent performances such as adhesion to various substrates at a low temperature of 150.degree. C. or lower, water resistance and chemical resistance, can be suitably used for various purposes of use, and can be used safely. The curable resin composition comprises a carboxyl group-containing polymer and an oxazoline group-containing polymer, and is characterized in that the carboxyl group-containing polymer contains primary and/or secondary amino groups.
Abstract:
An energy beam curable hydrophilic pressure sensitive adhesive composition comprising a hydrophilic pressure sensitive adhesive (A) and an energy beam polymerizable compound (B), optionally together with a photopolymerization initiator (C) added according to necessity. Thus, a pressure sensitive adhesive composition suitable for use in a wafer surface protective sheet is provided, which enables easy removal of any residual pressure sensitive adhesive by washing with water, even if the pressure sensitive adhesive remains on the wafer surface after peeling of the pressure sensitive adhesive sheet.
Abstract:
This system for thermoplastic adhesives includes (A) a first composition without anhydride groups, containing: a) at least one polymer chosen from the thermoplastic polymers and the synthetic rubbers; b) at least one compound containing at least one group which can react with anhydride groups; c) at least one tackifying resin; and d) if desired, at least one plasticizer; (B) a second composition containing constituents Ba, Bc and Bd which are respectively analogous to the constituents Aa, Ac and Ad, and b) at least one polymer containing anhydride groups; and (C) at least one activator of the reaction between the reactive groups of Ab and the anhydride functions of Bb. Advantageously the activator (C) is wholly incorporated in the composition A and/or in the composition B, so as to form a two-component system.
