    Abstract: Silicone compositions particularly useful for the production of anti-fouling varnishes for application to support substrates, these providing an anti-fouling varnish for textiles covered with silicone elastomers which is economical, adhesive, non-slip and glossy; the subject varnishes comprise a crosslinkable silicone composition containing, per 100 parts by weight: 1, at least 80 parts by weight of: (1.1), 2., 0.1 to 10 parts of weight of: (1.2), 3., 0 to 10 parts by weight of at least one polydimethylisiloxane (PDMS) acrylate or epoxide, 4., 0 to 10 parts by weight of at least one silylated compound which includes at least one ultrafine filler, 7., 0 to 10 parts by weight of at least one thickener, and 8., 0 to 10 parts by weigh of at least one additional functional additive.

    Abstract: a tape or sheet form pressure-sensitive adhesive material which comprises a substrate which is obtainable by curing a curable resin composition comprising:(A) an organic elastomeric polymer which is liquid at room temperature and has, in a molecule, at least one silicon-containing group to the silicon atom of which at lease one hydroxyl group or hydrolyzable group is bonded and which is cross linkable through formation of a siloxane bond,(B) a curing catalystand(C) optionally a tackifier resin and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer laminated on said substrate, which has good flexibility and increased adhesive force such as adhesive strength under shear and peel strength.

    Abstract: A method for producing crosslinkable compositions (M) by mixing (A) 100 parts by weight of compounds of the formula Y—[(CR12)b—SiRa(OR2)3-a]x (I) and (B) 0.1 to 75 parts by weight of at least one thixotropic agent. The at least one thixotropic agent is selected from fatty acid amides, polyamide waxes, polyamide wax derivatives, hydrogenated castor oil, hydrogenated castor oil derivatives, polyester amides, polyureas, oxidized polyethylenes and metal soaps and optionally further components. The period of time from the start of the mixing step of (A) and (B) to the end of storage of the crosslinkable composition (M) is at least 7 days and during this period all process steps are carried out at temperatures below 59° C.

    Abstract: The invention described herein generally pertains to a composition that includes a silyl-terminated polymer having silyl groups linked to a polymer backbone via triazole. The silyl-terminated polymer is a reaction product of a functionalized polymer backbone and a functionalized silane. The polymer backbone includes a first functional group, which may be one of an azide or an alkyne. The functionalized silane includes a second functional group may also be one of an azide or an alkyne, but is also different from the first functional group. The functionalized polymer backbone is reacted with the functionalized silane in the presence of a metal catalyst.
