Abstract: The present disclosure relate to the technical field of secondary batteries, and in particular, to a secondary battery and a top cover component thereof. The top cover component provided by the present disclosure includes a top cover plate having an electrode lead-out hole, and a second sealing portion and a second insulating portion stretching into the electrode lead-out hole, and the second sealing portion and the second insulating portion are at least partially staggered to each other on the radial direction of the electrode lead-out hole and are at least partially overlapped on the height direction. Based on this, a direct discharge clearance can be effectively blocked, and the creepage distance can be prolonged, thereby being conducive to reducing the risk of on fire or explosion and other problems of the secondary battery while withstanding a high voltage.

Abstract: A sealed cell according to the present invention includes an angular case 50 that accommodates an electrode body. The angular case 50 includes a concave case main body 52, having an opening, and a sealing member 54. The case main body 52 has a flat surface 52a opposed to the sealing member 54, with the electrode body interposed therebetween, and a side wall 52b rising from the flat surface 52a. The peripheral edge portion of the opening provided in the case main body 52 and the sealing member 54 are joined to each other by seal welding. Concave and convex portions including concave portions 56a, 156a recessed toward the inside of the case and convex portions 56b flush with the flat surface 52a are formed on at least one side 58a portion of end sides of the flat surface 52a. Electrode terminals 80, 82 are disposed on bottom surfaces of the concave portions 56a, 156a.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a plate-shaped battery cell including an electrode assembly, which includes a positive electrode, a negative electrode, and a separator, and a cell case, in which the electrode assembly is mounted, outer edges of the cell case being sealed by thermal bonding, wherein the electrode assembly is configured such that each electrode plate having the same polarity is partitioned into at least two electrode parts having different planar shapes and sizes, the electrode assembly is provided at a region thereof at which outer edges of the electrode parts intersect each other with at least one outside corner, at which the outer edges intersect each other at an angle of 30 to 150 degrees, and an outside recess is formed in a region of each of the electrode plates and the separator corresponding to the outer corner such that the outside recess is formed so as to be recessed inward.

In the packaging material, the barrier layer has an aluminum foil layer and an anticorrosion treatment layer that is provided to a sealant layer side surface of the aluminum foil layer and faces the sealant adhesive layer. The sealant layer side surface of the aluminum foil layer has a 60° glossiness that is 690 or less in both MD and TD, and has a difference in 60° glossiness between MD and TD that is 100 or less.
