Abstract: This invention relates to a polymeric composition suitable for greenhouse film applications, and greenhouse films made therefrom. The polymeric composition suitable for greenhouse film applications according to the present invention comprises a) 50 to 99 percent by weight of a continuous polymeric phase comprising a polymer selected from the group consisting of a polyolefin, a polyolefin copolymer, an ethylene propylene copolymer with an acrylic ester, an ethylene or propylene copolymer with a vinyl acetate, and combinations thereof; and b) 1 to 50 percent by weight of polymeric particles having an average particle diameter of 0.5 to 10 μm; a refractive index from 1.474 to 1.545; an average particle hardness from 1.2367E+10 N/m2 to 8.4617E+10 N/m2; and at least 60% polymerized acrylic monomer units.

Abstract: A thermoplastic polyurethane composition includes a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and a polyoxymethylene. The thermoplastic polyurethane composition comprises 50 to 95 parts by weight of the TPU and 5 to 50 parts by weight of the polyoxymethylene, per 100 parts by weight of the thermoplastic polyurethane composition. The thermoplastic polyurethane composition has an Izod notched impact of greater than 0.5 fflb/in at −40° C. as determined by ASTM D256 10, Method A, and an elastic modulus of greater than 700 psi at 130° C. as determined by ASTM D412. A fluid transfer tube is formed from the thermoplastic polyurethane composition.

Abstract: The present invention provides a conductive material including: (A) a π-conjugated polymer, (B) a dopant polymer which contains one or more repeating units selected from “a1” to “a4” respectively represented by the following general formula (1) and has a weight-average molecular weight in the range of 1,000 to 500,000, and (C) one or more metal oxide nanoparticles whose metal oxide is selected from indium-tin oxides, tin oxides, antimony-tin oxides, antimony-zinc oxides, antimony oxides, and molybdenum oxides having a particle diameter of 1 to 200 nm. There can be provided a conductive material that has excellent film-formability and also can form a conductive film having high transparency and conductivity, superior flexibility and flatness when the film is formed from the material.

Abstract: Disclosed is a polycarbonate composition including a polycarbonate; and a copolycarbonate, where the copolycarbonate includes an aromatic polycarbonate-based first repeating unit; and aromatic polycarbonate-based second repeating units having siloxane bonds, which include a repeating unit represented by Chemical Formula 2 and a repeating unit represented by Chemical Formula 3, where the copolycarbonate has an impact strength at room temperature of 840 to 1000 J/m as measured at 23° C. in accordance with ASTM D256 (⅛ inch, Notched Izod), and the copolycarbonate satisfies Equation 1: TS/TS0≧0.80. [Equation 1] The copolycarbonate in the composition provides an improved chemical resistance and impact strength simultaneously.
