Abstract:
A control unit is slidably mounted on a top corner of a playard and connected to the slider inside the seat through a linking unit passing through a standing post of the playard. When the control unit pulls the slider to move relative to the seat along a first direction, a braking pin slides relative to the seat along a second direction and disengages from the hub to release a wheel. When the control unit is pushed to lock the wheel, the bias force from springs moves the slider and the braking pin to slide along the opposite direction, leading the braking pin to engage with the hub to brake the wheel. The wheel can be operated to brake or release by a remote control unit.
Abstract:
Systems and methods of generating device commands based upon hand gesture commands are disclosed. An exemplary embodiment generates image information from a series of captured images, generates commands based upon hand gestures made by a user that emulate device commands generated by a remote control device, identifies a hand gesture made by the user from the received image information, determines a hand gesture command based upon the identified hand gesture, compares the determined hand gesture command with the plurality of predefined hand gesture commands to identify a corresponding matching hand gesture command from the plurality of predefined hand gesture commands, generates an emulated remote control device command based upon the identified matching hand gesture command, and controls the media device based upon the generated emulated remote control device command.
Abstract:
An electrical connector (100) for mating with a mating connector (800) along a mating direction includes an insulative housing (1), a pair of latches (7) and a number of terminals (5) received in the insulative housing. The insulative housing has a front face (11), a pair of side walls (13) each defining an opening (131), a pair of receiving spaces (12, 14) defined between the pair of side walls, and a partition (16) disposed between the pair of receiving spaces. The pair of latches are mounted in the openings and each formed with an engaging portion (75). The latch resiliently yields in the opening along a moving direction perpendicular to the mating direction to permit the engaging portion moveable between a locked position and an unlocked position.
Abstract:
A cable connector assembly (100) comprises an insulative housing (1), a plurality of contacts (2) received in the housing (1), a plurality of wires (3) electrically connecting to the contacts (2) and a fastening device (7). The housing (1) defines at least a through hole (107) in a lateral side thereof. The fastening device (7) comprises a bolt (71) matching with a nut (72) received in the through hole (107), the nut (72) has an engaging portion (723) split into at least two deformable pieces (7230), and the bolt (71) is slidably received in the nut (72) to urge the deformable pieces (7230) splaying when the bolt is pushed in; a stopper is arranged between the bolt and the nut to prevent the bolt from sliding out of the nut.
Abstract:
An electrical connector assembly comprises a receptacle connector (100) and a plug connector (200) mating with the receptacle connector. The receptacle connector (100) has a receptacle housing (10) and a plurality of receptacle contacts (12) received in the receptacle housing, and the receptacle housing comprises a base portion (102) and an expansion portion (104) extending outwards from the base portion. The plug connector comprises a plug housing (20) and a plurality of plug contacts (21) retained in the plug housing. Each of the receptacle contacts and the plug contacts define a mating portion (121, 211), a retention portion (123, 213) retained with associated housing and a tail portion (124, 214) extending beyond the associated housing. The receptacle contacts and the plug contacts are divided into two groups respectively, each group of contacts comprises two pairs of differential signal contacts (12a, 12b, 12d, 12e, 21a, 21b, 21d, 21e) transmitting signal and a grounding contact (12c, 21c) arranged between the two pairs of differential signal contacts, and one of the two pairs of the differential signal contacts (12d, 12e, 21d, 21e) are located on an outer side of the group of contacts.
Abstract:
One embodiment may take the form of an apparatus for providing separate user classifications and interfaces to multiple users of a set-top box of the television system. Each user classification may be configurable to provide different interfaces, menus and available features to the users of the set-top box. Further, each user classification may include several sub-classifications to further personalize the set-top box to the various users of the system. Also, each user classification may also monitor the habits and usage of each class and store such information for use by the set-top box to suggest settings of the set-top box that the user may be interested in, such as a favorite channel list.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a method and apparatus of precise first-path detection in CDMA mobile communications systems, comprising the steps of: a. calculating the noise threshold for the first-path detection according to the multi-path profile; b. judging whether there is a maximum point exceeding the noise threshold in the multi-path profile, if yes, carrying out side-lobe suppression at this maximum point and obtaining the candidate first path; otherwise, setting the flag of no first path existing, and exiting the entire process of first-path detection; c. judging according to the location of the candidate first path whether the first path is ambiguous, if yes, carrying out correction of first-path ambiguity, obtaining the corrected location of final first path, and exiting the entire first-path detection process; otherwise, outputting the location of candidate first path as the location of final first path. The apparatus in accordance with this invention comprises at least a module for noise threshold calculation, a module for side-lobe suppression, and a module for first-path ambiguity detection and correction.
Abstract:
A cable assembly (1) includes an insulated housing (2) having a base portion (21) and a mating portion (22) extending forwardly from the base portion; a plurality of terminals (3) received in the insulated housing; a retainer (214) formed on the base portion, said retainer defining a cavity (215) with a rear outlet; a sensor (7) accommodated in the cavity of the retainer; and a lid member (8) covering the rear outlet of the retainer.
Abstract:
At least one foldable opaque shade device is disposed adjacent to an upright post of a playard that can block lights from coming into the playard and provide a comfortable environment for a baby/toddler inside. The at least one shade device is capable of selectively setting in a folding status or an unfolding status. When the at least one shade device is set to the folding status, it is folded adjacent to the standing post at one side of the playard via a rotary axle or other type of folding mechanism. The at least one shade device can be unfolded from the standing post(s), and the lateral surface of the playard between the two standing posts is fully covered by the shade device.
