Abstract:
A powered tool having a first housing half and a second housing half coupled thereto to provide a sleeve section and a handle section suspended therefrom. These housing halves are made from a resin. A protection layer made from a material softer than that of the housing is distributed over the sleeve section and a handle section. A network pattern is provided as a part of the protection layer at the sleeve section. The network pattern is distributed over a parting face between the first and second housing halves. Further, a continuous web like pattern is also provided as a part of the protection layer at each lateral side of the sleeve section and each lateral side of the handle section.
Abstract:
A frequency measurement circuit comprises a plurality of frequency measurement units 10, 20, K0 each of which counts a reference clock Cb during a counting period having a predetermined number of waves of an input signal Cin, each of the frequency measurement units counts the reference clock, with shifted counting periods, respectively. Moreover, an adder 14 is provided to add the counted numbers of the plurality of the frequency measurement units. By shift the counting periods, even if the phase of the input signal agrees with the phase of the reference clock at the time counting starts and at the time counting ends on a certain frequency measurement unit, there is scarcely any possibility of agreement of the phases on other frequency measurement units. Therefore, by utilization of the added number of counts, frequency can be measured with high accuracy. In addition, by making the counting periods being shifted with overlaping each other, extension of the measurement time is not required any longer.

An image forming apparatus is provided with a high voltage transformer provided with one common secondary winding for supplying a high voltage power to a main charger and to a transferring charger, a resistor for sensing a shield current of the transferring charger, an error detecting amplifier for controlling a primary side of the high voltage transformer so that the sensed shield current is constant; a constant voltage device connected to a grid of the main charger for constant-voltage controlling the main charger, and a resistor inserted in a current path to the transferring charger for setting a current supplied from the high voltage transformer to the main charger to be greater than a current supplied from the high voltage transformer to the transferring charger.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus includes a photosensitive drum driver for rotating a photosensitive drum at either a normal speed or a higher speed, a charger, a charge remover for removing residual charges on the photosensitive drum surface after a toner image is transferred, a starter for instructing a start of image forming operation, and a controller responsive to the starter for controlling the operative parts. Upon the starter being turned on, the controller drives the charger and the charge remover, and permits the photosensitive drum driver to rotate the photosensitive drum at the higher speed, and suspends the image formation, After the photosensitive drum completes the initial one turn, the controller starts the image formation and permits the photosensitive drum driver to rotate the photosensitive drum at the normal speed.
Abstract:
The exposure apparatus is provided with a first mirror frame movement hampering means for hampering the movement of the first mirror frame in the exposing direction. The first mirror frame movement hampering means has a closure mounted on an operating opening on the main body and a movement hampering member mounted on the closure and positioned near a linking portion of the driving device of the first mirror frame and at a position at which the movement in the exposing direction is interfered. The movement hampering member is mounted on the closure to adjust its position freely within a predetermined range in the reciprocatingly moving direction of the first mirror frame.
Abstract:
A rubber composition for the manufacture of automotive vehicle tires suitably as a bead filler therefor. The composition comprises specified proportions of carbonblack, a modified novolak phenolic resin, hexamethylenetetramine and a polymeric cardanol based on a starting rubber component such that the resulting rubber composition has a relatively low rigidity prior to vulcanization and a relatively high dynamic modulus after vulcanization.
Abstract:
In a feed roller for mixing a developer and feeding it to a developing roller, a first mixing wing parallel to a rotating shaft is provided, a second spiral-shape mixing wing is diagonally provided in a manner to cross the first wing, and a spiral-shape groove for feeding a powder is formed on the one side located on the forward section with respect to rotating direction and being the powder scraping-up side of the both sides of said second mixing wing, along said second mixing wing, so as to enhance the feed performance, lateral-mixing performance and lateral-feed performance of the feed roller.

An image reading device including a contact glass on which an original sheet is set, an exposure lamp for irradiating a face of the original sheet on the contact glass to scan it, a photosensitive element provided below the contact glass, a first mirror for reflecting the light reflected by the original sheet in parallel with an original scanning direction, a second mirror for reflecting the light from the first mirror, a third mirror for reflecting the light from the second mirror, a lens for imaging the light from the third mirror on the photosensitive element, a first moving frame mounting the exposure lamp and first mirror and movable in the original scanning direction, a second moving frame mounting the second and third mirrors and movable following the first moving frame, first and second motors for shifting the first and second moving frames, respectively, and a controller for controlling a driving velocity of the second motor to keep the optical length from the face of the original sheet to be exposed to the light to the lens unchanged.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a liquid crystal panel that can provide a neutral display that is free from coloring in every direction. The liquid crystal panel includes a first polarizer 14a, a second polarizer 14b, and a liquid crystal cell 13. The first polarizer 14a is arranged on the visible side of the liquid crystal cell 13 and the second polarizer 14b is arranged on the backlight side of the liquid crystal cell 13. The liquid crystal panel further includes a first retardation layer 11 and a second retardation layer 12. A refractive index ellipsoid of the first retardation layer 11 has a relationship of nx=ny>nz, and a refractive index ellipsoid of the second retardation layer 12 has a relationship of nx>ny≧nz. The first retardation layer 11 and the second retardation layer 12 are arranged between the liquid crystal cell 13 and the second polarizer 14b.
