Abstract: A valve opening and closing timing control device includes a phase control unit having a drive side rotation member for rotating in synchronization with a crankshaft of an internal combustion engine, a driven side rotation member provided coaxially with the drive side rotation member for rotating in synchronization with a camshaft of the engine and a phase control mechanism for controlling a relative rotational phase between the drive side member and the driven side member by being supplied with an operation fluid. The phase control unit is provided at each set of camshafts of the internal combustion engine having plurality sets of camshafts. The valve timing control device further includes a first pump driven by the internal combustion engine and a second pump driven by a motor, wherein the first pump supplies the operation fluid to all of the phase control units provided at the each set of camshafts and the second pump supplies the operation fluid only to the phase control unit provided at one set of camshaft.

Abstract: A dielectric resonator block has at least three resonators and coupling device for coupling the adjacent resonators. A reactance element is added in parallel to the coupling device to provide an attenuation pole. A capacitor block of a dielectric material is provided which has through-holes to form hole electrodes and a surface electrode so that two coupling capacitances are provided. One of the two coupling capacitances serves as the reactance element. One of the hole electrodes of the capacitor block is connected with an external connector, and the other hole electrodes are connected with the resonators.

Abstract: An electromagnetic valve assembly comprises a movable valve member, a valve seat, an electromagnet for attracting the movable valve member toward the valve seat, and a non-magnetic intermediate member interposed between the movable valve member and the valve seat. The non-magnetic intermediate member magnetically isolates the movable valve member from the valve seat so that the movable valve member is free from the residual magnetism of the valve seat to prevetn valve sticking.
