Abstract: The present invention provides an electrical connector (100) including a magnetic module (200) for noise-filtering. The magnetic module (200) includes an interior printed circuit board (21), a common mode choke and a number of transformers mounted on the interior printed circuit board (21). Each of said common mode choke and transformers has a magnetic core (20,22) and a number of magnetic wires (23) winding around the magnetic cores (20,22), wherein the magnetic core (20) of the common mode choke defines two holes (203,205) parallel extending therethrough and forms a center wall (201) therebetween. The magnetic wires (23) of the common mode choke wind around the center wall (201) and through said two holes (203,205) in a same direction.

Abstract: The electrical connector system comprises a substrate (1) connected to PHY side and an electrical connector (3) mounted on the substrate (1), a transformer (5) and a common mode filter (7). The electrical connector (3) is used to mate with a cable assembly and so forms a Cable side. The transformer (5) further comprises a first wire (51) having two opposite ends electrically connected to the PHY side and a second wire (53) having two opposite ends. The common mode filter (7) having a third wire (73) and a fourth wire (75) that are physically separated from the second wire (53). The third wire (73) has an end electrically connected to one end of the second wire (53) and an opposite end electrically connected to the Cable side. The fourth wire (75) has an end electrically connected to the opposite end of the second wire (53) and an opposite end electrically connected to the Cable side.

Abstract: An electrical connector assembly has an insulative housing (2) defining a number of receiving spaces (24) and a number of contact modules (4) inserted in the receiving spaces. Each contact module comprises a first substrate (41) having a pair of substrate halves (411), and a pair of conductive units respectively mounted on corresponding substrate halves. The first substrate has a number of circuit traces formed thereon and one electronic component (415) disposed on one substrate half. The circuit traces is electrically connected with the pair of conductive units and the electronic component. Abstract: A transformer (100) includes a bar-shaped core (5), a number of coils (7) comprising a first winding group (71, 72) and a second winding group (73, 74) wound around the core, a housing (1) receiving the core and the coils, and a number of conductive terminals (3) being secured in the housing. The first winding group and the second winding group wound around different parts of the core. The coils are soldered to the conductive terminals (3). The coils (7) are wound around the core automatically by an automatic winder. Therefore, the cost of manufacturing the transformer is decreased.

Abstract: An electrical connector (100) to be mounted on a substrate provides signal channels between a first side and a second side. The electrical connector includes a transformer (210), a common mode filter (327) and a separated filter (328). The transformer includes a first wire (314) having two opposite ends electrically connected to said first side and a second wire (312) having two opposite ends and a center tap (313). The common mode filter includes a third wire (322) and a fourth wire (324), each of the third wire (322) and the fourth wire (324) having an end respectively electrically connected to the two opposite ends of the second wire (312). The separated filter (328) includes a fifth wire (326) separated from the common mode filter (327) and the transformer (310), the fifth wire (326) having an end electrically connected to the center tap (313) of the second wire (312).
