An exemplary method for making a metallic cover includes the following steps: providing a raw metallic block (20); rolling a pressing machine (30) on the metallic block to form a preformed body (40); and machining the preformed body 40 in a high precision machining process to yield a metallic cover (60). The thickness of a predetermined portion of the metallic cover is different from that of other portions of the metallic cover.

An apparatus and method for testing conductive bumps are provided. An exemplary embodiment of a bump testing unit comprises a support substrate with two probes protruding one surface thereof. A digital detecting device is embedded in the support substrate, comprising a first and second input terminals and an output terminal, wherein the input terminals electrically connects one of the probes.
Abstract:
An apparatus for measuring the thickness profile and elastic modulus profile of a polishing pad comprise an eddy current sensor and a mechanism to press the eddy current sensor against the polishing pad. The pad thickness is given by the signal of the eddy current sensor. The elastic modulus of the polishing pad is extracted from measurements at different forces applied to the eddy current sensor. The thickness profile and elastic modulus profile of the polishing pad are obtained by scanning the measurement across the whole polishing pad or along a diameter of the polishing pad. The pad thickness profile is used to adjust pad conditioning recipe so that more pad materials is eroded away at thicker area of the pad. By employing the apparatus of present invention, the thickness uniformity of a polishing pad can be better maintained, resulting in longer pad lifetime and better CMP removal rate uniformity.

The first media comprises water. The at least one first non-ionic surfactant has a first HLB (Hydrophilic Lipophilic Balance) value. The at least one second ink comprises at least one second colorant, a second media, and at least one second non-ionic surfactant. The at least one second colorant provides corresponding color of the second ink. The second media comprises water. The at least one second non-ionic surfactant has a second HLB value. The first HLB value is smaller than or equal to the second HLB value.

A flow control structure of a water hose joint has: a hose connector, a coupler, a control section, and a hose. The coupler is coupled with the hose connector, the control section is sleeved on the coupler, and the coupler is inserted into the hose, so as to complete a flow control structure of the hose connector. By combining the hose connector with a connecting pipe and rotating the control section to adjust the relative position of the control section and the coupler to change the water flow, which has the effect of simple flow adjustment.

A mobile apparatus data sharing method includes the following steps: receiving a request for activating a sharing functionality on sharing data; obtaining context information of the mobile apparatus and a contact list which includes information of several candidate contacts; classifying the information of the candidate contacts into several candidate groups according to the context information; displaying the candidate groups via the mobile apparatus; determining a target contact group from the candidate contact groups according to a contact group selecting signal generated by the mobile apparatus; and transmitting the sharing data to the target contact group according to the information of the candidate contacts in the target contact group.

A method includes performing a grinding on a backside of a semiconductor substrate. An image sensor is disposed on a front side of the semiconductor substrate. An impurity is doped into a surface layer of the backside of the semiconductor substrate to form a doped layer. A multi-cycle laser anneal is performed on the doped layer.
