Abstract: Sales Forecasting using Browsing Ratios and Browsing Durations is described. In one or more implementations, browsing ratios representative of how much users visited webpages associated with a product or service, and browsing durations representing how much time users spent visiting the webpages associated with the product or service are determined. Based on the determined browsing ratios and browsing durations, a sales forecast of the product or service can be accurately determined.

Abstract: In implementations of time-dependent network embedding, a computing device maintains time-dependent interconnected data in the form of a time-based graph that includes nodes and node associations that each represent an edge between two of the nodes in the time-based graph based at least in part on a temporal value that indicates when the two nodes were associated. The computing device includes a network embedding module that is implemented to traverse one or more of the nodes in the time-based graph along the node associations, where the traversal is performed with respect to the temporal value of each of the edges that associate the nodes. The network embedding module is also implemented to determine a time-dependent embedding for each of the nodes traversed in the time-based graph, the time-dependent embedding for each of the respective nodes being representative of feature values that describe the respective node.

Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for making predictions with respect to how content consumers will interact with a digital asset. For example, in the context of website visitors browsing digital assets provided via a website, web traffic data can be collected and modeled using a belief network. The belief network may represent a probability distribution for a set of variables that define the web traffic data. Examples of such variables include browser type, browsing session duration, geographic location, visitor demographic characteristics, and a browsing outcome. Certain of the embodiments disclosed herein can be used to extract knowledge from the belief network, thereby allowing statistical inferences to be drawn with respect to how certain classes of website visitors will interact with the website. The influence of one or more first variables (for example, geographic location) can be quantified with respect to one or more second variables (for example, the successful result indicator).

Abstract: Systems and methods provide for generating predictive models that are useful in predicting next-user-actions. User-specific navigation sequences are obtained, the navigation sequences representing temporally-related series of actions performed by users during navigation sessions. To each navigation sequence, a Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) is applied to encode the navigation sequences into user embeddings that reflect time-based, sequential navigation patterns for the user. Once a set of navigation sequences is encoded to a set of user embeddings, a variety of classifiers (prediction models) may be applied to the user embeddings to predict what a probable next-user-action may be and/or the likelihood that the next-user-action will be a desired target action.

Abstract: A method, apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium, and system for document retrieval include obtaining a query and a document. A prompt generator generates a prompt for a reasoning model based on the query and the document. The reasoning model generates a reasoning result based on the prompt. In some cases, the reasoning result indicates that the document answers the query. A machine learning model provides the document in response to the query based on the reasoning result.

Abstract: Graphic visualizations, such as charts or graphs conveying data attribute values, can be generated based on natural language queries, i.e., natural language requests. To do so, a natural language request is parsed into n-grams, and from the n-grams, word embeddings are determined using a natural language model. Data attributes for the graphic visualization are discovered in the vector space from the word embeddings. The type of graphic visualization can be determined based on a request intent, which is determined using a trained intent classifier. The graphic visualization is generated to include the data attribute values of the discovered data attributes, and in accordance with the graphic visualization type.

Abstract: A system and methods for providing human-invisible AR markers is described. One aspect of the system and methods includes identifying AR metadata associated with an object in an image; generating AR marker image data based on the AR metadata; generating a first variant of the image by adding the AR marker image data to the image; generating a second variant of the image by subtracting the AR marker image data from the image; and displaying the first variant and the second variant of the image alternately at a display frequency to produce a display of the image, wherein the AR marker image data is invisible to a human vision system in the display of the image.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media for generating naturally phrased insights about data charts using light language models distilled from large language models. To synthesize training data for the light language model, in some embodiments, the disclosed systems leverage insight templates for prompting a large language model for generating naturally phrased insights. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems anonymize and augment the synthesized training data to improve the accuracy and robustness of model predictions. For example, the disclosed systems anonymize training data by injecting noise into data charts before prompting the large language model for generating naturally phrased insights from insight templates. In some embodiments, the disclosed systems further augment the (anonymized) training data by splitting or partitioning data charts into folds that act as individual data charts.

Abstract: Aspects of a method, apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium, and system include obtaining a document and a query. A plurality of data elements are identified from the document by locating a plurality of corresponding flexible anchor elements. Then, the data elements are extracted based on the plurality of flexible anchor elements. Content including an analysis of the extracted data elements based on the query is generated.

Abstract: In implementations of augmented reality systems for comparing physical objects, a computing device implements a comparison system to detect physical objects and physical markers depicted in frames of a digital video captured using an image capture device and displayed in a user interface. The comparison system associates a physical object of the physical objects with a physical marker of the physical markers based on an association distance estimated using two-dimensional coordinates of the user interface corresponding to a center of the physical object and a distance from the image capture device to the physical marker. Characteristics of the physical object are determined that are not displayed in the user interface based on an identifier of the physical marker. The comparison system generates a virtual object for display in the user interface that includes indications of a subset of the characteristics of the physical object.
