Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are disclosed from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE). In one method, the method includes the UE is configured by a network node to receive and/or monitor a signal within a channel occupancy time, wherein the signal indicates information of one or multiple TTIs (Transmission Time Interval) of a serving cell. The method further includes the UE derives state or functionality of one or more symbol(s) in the one or multiple TTIs based on the information, wherein the information indicates a symbol in the one or multiple TTIs to be any of “downlink”, “uplink”, “flexible”, or “blank”. The method also includes the UE derives or is indicated that at least one set of consecutive symbol(s) are indicated as “blank”. Furthermore, the method includes the UE prevents from or is not required to perform reception for (dynamically) indicated or configured physical DL (Downlink) channel or RS (Reference Signal) within the set of consecutive symbols indicated as “blank”. In addition, the method includes the UE prevents from or is not required to perform transmission for (dynamically) indicated or configured physical UL (Uplink) channel or RS within the set of consecutive symbols indicated as “blank”. Also, the method includes the UE being allowed to perform a channel access procedure or LBT (Listen Before Talk) scheme within the set of consecutive symbols indicated as “blank”.

Furthermore, the method includes the UE transmitting a first report via a PUCCH (Physical Uplink Control Channel) in the second cell in response to the UE detecting that all links associated with monitored control resource set(s) in the first cell have failed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed from the perspective of a network. In addition, the method includes the network prevents from setting an amount of slot format values in the slot format combination in the first DCI to be not divided by a first number, wherein the first number is associated with an absolute value of a difference of a first SCS (Subcarrier Spacing) configuration and a second SCS configuration.

In one embodiment, the method includes the UE detecting and/or receiving downlink transmission in a first channel occupancy time in unlicensed spectrum. The method further includes that after the first channel occupancy time ends, the UE performs receiving beam sweeping in each time unit until the UE receives downlink transmission in the second channel occupancy time or until the UE finds a candidate beam in the second channel occupancy time.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed. In an example from the perspective of a User Equipment (UE), a random access procedure in a cell controlled by a network node is initiated. A downlink signal is selected from amongst configured downlink signals. A measured Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) value associated with the downlink signal satisfies a first criterion associated with a first threshold. A measurement result associated with the downlink signal satisfies a second criterion associated with a second threshold. A random access preamble transmission of the random access procedure is performed on a Physical Random Access Channel (PRACH) occasion associated with the downlink signal.
