    Abstract: The present disclosure provides a lithium ion battery, a battery pack, an electric vehicle and an energy storage device. The lithium ion battery includes a casing and an electrode core packaged in the casing. The electrode core includes a positive electrode sheet, a negative electrode sheet, and a separator located between the positive electrode sheet and the negative electrode sheet. The positive electrode sheet includes a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode material layer on the positive electrode current collector. Among the positive electrode current collector, the positive electrode material layer, the negative electrode sheet, and the separator, the one with the lowest melting point is defined as an effective component. The effective component meets: 1 ≤ d 2 ⁢ ρ ⁢ C p × ( 1.12 nL ( n + 1 ) ⁢ W ) ≤ 500.

    Abstract: A cell array, including a plurality of cells arranged in sequence is provided. Each of the plurality of cells includes a housing and an electrode core. The electrode core includes an electrode plate. The electrode plate includes a current collector and a coating layer arranged on the current collector. The cell array satisfies the following formula 1: (1−JRw)+(SRw−1)=10%−15%. JRw is an expansion space for the electrode core inside each of the plurality of cells in a first direction, SRw is an expansion space outside the plurality of cells in the first direction, and a thickness direction of each of the plurality of cells is defined as the first direction.     Abstract: The present disclosure provides a battery pack housing, a battery pack, and an electric vehicle. The battery pack housing includes a housing body and at least one structural beam disposed in the housing body. The at least one structural beam divides the internal space of the housing body into a number of accommodation cavities. The housing body includes a top plate and a bottom plate arranged opposite to each other in a first direction, the first direction is a height direction of the battery pack housing, and the structural beam is located between and attached to the top plate and the bottom plate. The battery pack housing comprises a mounting part for connecting mounting portion for a fixed connection with an external load. The battery pack housing disclosed in the present disclosure has relatively high strength and stiffness as well as high space utilization.

    Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing, and at least one housing structural beam and multiple electrode core strings electrically connected to one another located in the housing. The housing includes a housing body, including a top plate and a bottom plate arranged opposite to each other in a first direction. The structural beam is located between the top plate and the bottom plate, the at least one structural beam is connected to the top plate and the bottom plate, and divides the interior of the housing into multiple accommodating cavities, and at least one electrode core string is provided in at least one accommodating cavity. A mounting portion is provided on the housing, and the mounting portion is configured to be connected and fixed to an external load. The electrode core string includes multiple electrode core assemblies sequentially disposed in a second direction and connected in series.

    Abstract: A cover plate assembly, a battery, a battery module, a power battery pack, and an electric vehicle are disclosed. The cover plate assembly includes a cover plate body (1), a first electrode terminal (2), a second electrode terminal, and a resistive coating (3). The second electrode terminal is insulatively connected with the cover plate body (1). The first electrode terminal (2) is electrically connected with the cover plate body (1) by the resistive coating (3). The resistive coating (3) includes a weak portion (331). When a current flowing through the resistive coating (3) is greater than a predetermined threshold, the weak portion (331) is melted to disconnect the cover plate body (1) from the first electrode terminal (2).
