Abstract: A handheld electronic device including a lower housing, an upper housing, a touch panel, a display module, a partition, position posts, cushions, and an actuator is provided. The upper housing is above and separated from the lower housing. The touch panel is at an opening of the upper housing and connects with the upper housing. The display module is disposed in the upper housing and connected with the lower housing. The partition is between the display module and the lower housing and connected to the upper housing. The partition has position holes. The position posts are located in their corresponding position holes and connected with the display module. The cushions are located between the corresponding position post and the position hole. The actuator is disposed between the display module and the upper housing to force the upper housing to shift relative to the display module and the lower housing.

Abstract: A detachable adapter is adapted to be disposed in a handheld device and adapted to accommodate a memory card. The handheld device includes a socket connector. The memory card has a memory card terminal set. The socket connector has a socket body and a socket terminal set disposed at the socket body. The adapter includes an adapter body, and first, second and third terminal sets. The detachable adapter has an accommodating cavity in which the first terminal set is disposed. Abstract: A moving element having secondary keyboard for a portable electronic device is placed between a first member and a second member of the device for providing different keyboard sets to improve readability of text when in different operating configurations. When the second member slides out laterally relative to the first member, the moving element remains stayed in the first member, not moving with the second member. When the second member slides out vertically relative to the first member, the moving element slides with the second member along the sliding groove on the first member, and the moving element is exposed on top of the second member to present a concise dialing keyboard. The secondary keyboard contacts corresponding buttons of a primary keyboard directly. Thus, there is no need to provide additional circuit module exclusively for the secondary keyboard such that the cost and volume can be reduced.
