    Abstract: Provided is an organic electroluminescent display device having excellent thermal durability including, in order from a visual recognition side, at least a circularly polarizing plate, and an organic electroluminescent display element having a pair of electrodes and an organic light emitting layer sandwiched therebetween, in which the circularly polarizing plate has a polarizer and an optically anisotropic layer, the polarizer having a thickness of 10 μm or less and containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin, or having a dichroic organic coloring agent, the optically anisotropic layer being formed of a composition containing a polymerizable liquid crystal compound exhibiting reverse wavelength dispersibility, a silicon nitride layer being included between the circularly polarizing plate and the organic electroluminescent display element, and the circularly polarizing plate being disposed between two substrates having a moisture permeability of 1 g/m2·day or less, and one of the low moisture permeability substrates is the silicon nitride layer.

    Abstract: The present invention provides: a laminate which has excellent moisture-heat resistance and includes a light-absorbing anisotropic layer sandwiched between pressure sensitive adhesive layers; and an image display device using the same. The laminate includes a pressure sensitive adhesive layer, a light-absorbing anisotropic layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer in this order, in which the light-absorbing anisotropic layer contains an organic dichroic substance, a thickness of the light-absorbing anisotropic layer is 5 μm or less, the pressure sensitive adhesive layer and the pressure sensitive adhesive layer are each a pressure sensitive adhesive layer at a closest position as viewed from the light-absorbing anisotropic layer in the laminate, and H represented by Expression (I) is 10.0 or less. H=(thickness of pressure sensitive adhesive layer+thickness of pressure sensitive adhesive layer)/total thickness of layers on inner side than pressure sensitive adhesive layer and pressure sensitive adhesive layer.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a light-absorbing anisotropic film having an excellent degree of alignment of a dichroic azo coloring agent; an optical laminate including the same; and an image display device using the same. The light-absorbing anisotropic film according to an embodiment of the present invention is a light-absorbing anisotropic film which is formed of a liquid crystal composition containing a dichroic azo coloring agent compound, a liquid crystalline compound, and a compound represented by Formula (1) and has a front transmittance of 60% or less, and in which a content mass ratio of the dichroic azo coloring agent compound to the liquid crystalline compound is 5% to 35% by mass.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide is an optical laminate film exhibiting excellent reflection tint and an organic EL display device using this optical laminate film and exhibiting excellent reflection tint when turned off. The object is achieved by providing an optical laminate film including a polarizer, a phase difference layer, and a circularly polarized light separating layer in this order, in which an in-plane retardation Re(550) of the phase difference layer is 120 to 160 nm, the polarizer and the phase difference layer are arranged to form an angle of 45°±10°, the circularly polarized light separating layer is a cholesteric liquid crystal layer formed by fixing a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase and having a liquid crystalline molecule as a main component, and Re(550) is 0.5 to 3.0 nm, and an optical laminate film in which a circularly polarized light separating layer has an in-plane phase difference and an angle formed between a slow axis of a phase difference layer and a slow axis of the circularly polarized light separating layer is −30° to 30°.
