The present invention provides a guiding device for dispensing discs from a storage hopper and includes a disc guiding unit attached to the storage hopper to extend operatively for conveying discs in a first mode of operation and also attached relative to the storage hopper to extend in a second non-operative mode of operation wherein jammed coins can be removed and a disc dispensing apparatus can be provided in a compact configuration for transportation.

An improved coin hopper that can be provided as original equipment or as a conversion member for a coin dispensing apparatus is provided. The coin hopper includes a housing member having a cavity for storing coins when mounted in a coin dispensing apparatus and a movable member operatively connected to the cavity of the housing member for increasing and decreasing the storage volume available for coins in the housing member. One or more movable members can exist about a storage bowl. An actuator unit can be activated by a detector unit responsive to the number of coins in the bowl to move the auxiliary movable members into a coin release position. Alternatively, a spring-biased actuator unit can be used for automatically moving the movable member for storing and releasing coins.

A disk device includes a driving unit and a restricting mechanism that are disposed in a housing. The driving unit moves between a withdrawal position and a driving position. The withdrawal position is separated from an outer peripheral edge of a disk that is positioned in the housing, and the driving position is where the disk is rotationally driven. When the driving unit is at the withdrawal position, the restricting mechanism restricts movement of the driving unit toward the driving position.

This conductive roller can make toner and external additives less adhere to the roller surface, can prevent the faulty images due to the adhesion of photosensitive-member abrasion dust and can well perform charging in the image reproduction from the initial stage to the last.

A processor compares the detected data to stored data for an authentic coin to determine authenticity. The deposited coins are summed and compared to an amount set by a coding switch to be deposited. A display displays the amounts received and authenticated.
