Abstract: A safety monitoring apparatus and method thereof for human-driven vehicle are provided. The safety monitoring apparatus includes a sensing unit, a processing unit, and a warning unit. The sensing unit and the warning unit are electrically connected to the processing unit, respectively. The sensing unit is arranged on a steering member of the human-driven vehicle and is used for sensing whether the steering member is in contact with a hand of a driver and generating a sensing signal accordingly. The processing unit determines whether the hand of the driver is placed on the steering member. The warning unit is used for generating a safety warning message. When the processing unit determines that the hand of the driver has not been placed on the steering member according to the sensing signal, the processing unit drives the warning unit to generate the safety warning message to warn the driver.

Abstract: Provided herein are an interactive system and a method thereof for controlling multiple remote devices. The method is executed by a portable navigation device to establish an interactive system including the portable navigation device, a host device and at least one controlled device. The portable navigation device, the host device and the least one controlled device communicate with one another according to at least one protocol. The host device receives an interactive interface provided by the least one controlled device. A cursor with respect to the host device is controlled by the portable navigation device. The least one controlled device corresponding to the interactive interface is controlled according to a motion of the cursor on the interactive interface to execute a function corresponding to the motion. Accordingly, the present invention achieves controlling the least one controlled device or transmitting data using the portable navigation device and the host device.

Abstract: An interactive electronic device includes an image capture module, a response module and a processing module. The image capture module is for capturing images. Abstract: A weeder robot includes a movable carrier and a blade module assembled to the movable carrier. The movable carrier includes a map creating module and a control module that is electrically coupled to the blade module and the map creating module. The map creating module includes an infrared unit and a vision sensing unit. The infrared unit can emit and receive an infrared light. The vision sensing unit can obtain an image information in a non-contact manner. The movable carrier can be used to move in a court, so that the map creating module can generate a three-dimensional (3D) court map through cooperation between the infrared unit and the vision sensing unit. When the weeder robot performs a maintenance process, the control module drives the blade module to weed a portion of a lawn higher than a predetermined height according to the 3D court map.
