Abstract: Optical enhancement and diffuser panels are provided for liquid crystal modules integrated in electronic devices. For example the enhancement and diffuser panels can be for backlight enhancement and diffusing in electronic devices having an integrated optical fingerprint sensor. The enhancement and diffuser panels include film layers that refract and diffuse light passing through in one direction (e.g., toward a display panel), while providing clear viewing windows for light passing through in the opposite direction (e.g., toward an under-display optical sensor). For example, the film layers can provide backlight enhancement and diffusing, without blurring reflected probe light used for optical sensing.

Abstract: An optical fingerprint sensor module includes a light source configured to provide illumination light directed toward a finger. A portion of the illumination light may be scattered or reflected off of the finger, thereby generating signal light. The optical fingerprint sensor module further includes a photodiode array that has a surface, a member defining a pinhole configured to receive and transmit the signal light, and a lens positioned adjacent the pinhole and configured to focus the signal light transmitted through the pinhole onto the surface of the photodiode array. An optical axis of the lens forms an angle with respect to a normal of the surface of the photodiode array that is between 45 degrees and 135 degrees. The optical fingerprint sensor module further includes electronic circuitries configured to process the electrical signals generated by the photodiode array to produce an image of a fingerprint pattern of the finger.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices are disclosed for optical sensing and tracking of eye movement. In one aspect, a device for obtaining a user's eye dynamics data includes a display screen to present at least one content. The device includes an eye sensing module to obtain the user's eye dynamics data including the user's eye movement while presenting to the user the at least one content on the display screen. The device includes a processor in communication with the eye sensing module. The processor can determine the user's reaction to the at least one content presented on the display screen based at least partly on the obtained user's eye dynamics data.

Abstract: A method for establishing synchronization relationship, a chip, an electronic device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes the following. A synchronization pulse of the master device is initiated according to a pulse period preset. A start time of a K1th synchronization pulse and a start time of a K2th connection event of a slave device are obtained, and an offset time is obtained according to the start time of the K1th synchronization pulse and the start time of the K2th connection event. First synchronization information is transmitted to the slave device for the slave device to start a local synchronization pulse synchronized with the synchronization pulse of the master device according to the first synchronization information. The first synchronization information carries a count value K1, a count value K2, the offset time, and the pulse period.
